I am suddenly riddled with some serious doubt. I always remembered that Anxieties cause 3 Strife when they come into play, and every single entry in my copy of the Core Rulebook says so... but I just came across the GM screen (pdf version) and saw this:

Quote

Anxieties: When making a check to which anxiety applies, receive 2 strife. Regain 1 Void point if this is the first occurrence in the scene.

Now the GM screen is - I think - more recent than the CRB, but less than the Errata & FAQ that do not mention anything about Anxieties... any thoughts on that?

Every single anxiety in both the Core Rulebook and Emerald Empire book says 3 strife, so I'd says chances are that the GM screen is the one with the typo. But only FFG can give us a final answer, so I'd suggest you ask them.
