Loku's "Set your sights" twice per activation?

By gutigari, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hi all,

Is there please any official not ambiguous clarification about whether "Set Your sights" can be used twice per activation (one at the beginning and the other at the end) or not? And what about the Rancor's "Feed" ability? Is it possible to use it just like "set your sights"?

Thanks very much in advance!

I have asked about them and both can be used both at the start and end because there's no limit specified. ("or" is not exclusive-or in Imperial Assault.)

(Whether they were intended to be so is another question and answer.)

There's other costs attached, so there doesn't need to be a limit. Use Loku's "Set Your Sights" too often and you'll be resting all the time. And the Rancor is chewing on your figures and costing threat.

staying on topic, if you set for sights twice on the same creature (start), loku double attacks, so he gets +1D per attack, then applies another set for sights at the end of his activation, do the other rebels benefit of a +1D +1D on that target till he dies or the +1D can only be triggered once ?

You can stack recon tokens on one target, but Loku's +1 damage ability doesn't stack, it's just on or off. The ability just checks whether they have a recon token or they don't, otherwise it would say "for each recon token, apply +1 damage".

See above. All abilities can only be used once per opportunity, thus Set Your Sights adds +1dmg if the target has at least one recon token.

(Loku could use Battle Vision and a recon token on an adjacent hostile figure to add another +1dmg.)
