Since I had no way to get to Arkham Nights I was unable to get Ashcan Pete. Is he going to be available in another way? Through an expansion or sold here or something? He's one of my favorite Arkham investigators.

Yes. He & Daniela Reyes (for Elder Sign) were officially called preview characters, rather than promos. They should each available in some yet-unknown expansions. Not withstanding the promo version, this is the first time Jenny & Pete weren't released together through the Arkham Files.
