Boba Bounty and Stims

By lukecook, in Rules

So let’s say Boba is equipped with stims, and he has killed his bounty and claimed the victory token, for now. If in turn 6 he takes damage past his health and emergency stims kicks and let’s say he already activated that round. He survives to the end of the game and the damage never was applied to him: does he still keep the victory token?

I would say yes.

He never gets another activation, so wounds don't kick in.

IMHO, same if you are in a tournament and time runs out but he's not dead yet.

This is how I think it would be played, but wanted to make sure on it.

From the "NEW RULES" section on the expansion component list:

Bounty - After setup, a unit with the BOUNTY keyword chooses an enemy commander or operative unit and marks that unit with a victory token. After a unit with the BOUNTY keyword defeats a unit with a victory token, the victory token moves to the unit with BOUNTY. At the end of the game, if a player controls a unit that has the BOUNTY keyword, has a victory token, and has not been defeated, that player gains a victory token.

So, yes, in the scenario you've described, the victory token is gained.
