Mines do they cause suppression and when?

By lukecook, in Rules

So same question as thread title. Sorry if this ones an easy one. And what about if it’s a from a battle condition vs from an enemy or friendly fire?

also if it does cause suppression and let’s say the unit only did one action so far, do they lose an action immediately if it’s at their courage value. Thanks

They do indeed deal suppression because they are ranged attacks.

Per the Suppression section on page 48, you do not lose any actions. The number of actions you get is determined immediately after the Rally step, so receiving suppression after that does not affect your action count.

Thanks, we were playing that way! Good to confirm it:)

If it detonates twice... That's 2 ranged attacks. 2 Suppression. .... That's how we read it anyway.

Is it 2 separate attacks or 1 with double the dice?

This is correct. It's 2 separate attacks, so you would get 2 suppression tokens. Another consequence of them being separate attacks is that Rebels get double usage out of their dodge tokens due to Nimble.
