Can vader deflect crits? I m saying no because it requires you to spend a dodge token

It actually doesn’t matter what the attacker rolled. You are not deflecting specific die results back at the attacker. The way deflect works is you spend a dodge (even if the attacker rolled all crits and you don’t actually cancel anything), then each defensive surge that you roll causes a wound.
