All the work in here is great! The face on Leia is one of the best ive seen

thank you! I'm not great with faces and Leia's was a challenge.

Got another update up on my blog. I have finished painting my rebel specialists. Im not sure the humans will see much play but I'll most certainly use the bots in a few games. Here's a pic. If you would like to see more pictures and the full article please follow the link: https://legion-outpost.blogspot.com/2019/06/rebel-specialists-painted.html

Really nice work on all your stuff. I’ve just started work on my moment tools.

The Sith have the power to resurrect the dead...or so at least the emperor promises anakin...

By resurrecting this thread from the dead I must be a Sith Lord.. Over a year of silence but...I have been painting. and now I have also taken some pictures and updated my Blog. Let's get things rolling again...or floating ....with this repulsor tank...the mighty AAT. Have a look at my blog for more pictures: https://legion-outpost.blogspot.com/2020/07/painted-aat-cis.html

Count Dooku is the fearsome leader of my Separatists army. I liked this charachter in the movie and I love this model. I think the pose is great. Painting him up was pretty straight forward. I had a look online for the right colours and had him done in an hour. the only difficult bit is his face. I painted the lightsaber to match the lightsagers I did before but I might go back and change them all one day. In the picture below I used some CGI. On my blog more pictures of the model and face close-up: https://legion-outpost.blogspot.com/2020/07/count-dooku-painted.html

I read a lot of players used the recently available Games Workshop Contrast Paints. I tried it on 1 test model and I was blown away with the results and how easy and quick I could paint them up. I did tweak the recipe a little. If you want to know what Colours I used and you want to see more pictures...have a look at my latest blogpost: https://legion-outpost.blogspot.com/2020/08/b1-contrast-fun.html

As usual your paint job is fantastic.

Also, I really like the final color you get on your b1 by the mixing of contrast paints you have done. To me it seems to be one of the most "regular" color for b1 using contrast paints. I like them this way

Thanks man, I appreciate your comment!

I felt like the just skeleton horde CP on itself was just a tad too light so I used an empty dropper battle to mix up my own recope. I labeled it "B1 MIX" so I have enough to paint up at least another 100 B1's and they will all have the same shade.

Time for another update. I really hated putting the droidekas together and figure out how to put the rolling ones on their base but the painting was pretty easy and quick. Just painted them with metal and bronze. Quick washes and then some drybrushing and they were alomost done. I added some purple to break up the monotone paintjob and even washed the bronze armour with a purple wash. I think they came out ok.

THIS

While the detail on the Droid minis are amazing, I have never cursed as much, or gotten as much superglue on my fingers than when I assembled 2 of my droidekas...and I have several more to eventually assemble
