Can it be across the board but in line of site? Or is it ranged like a normal weapon? can seem to find the answer.

The answer is in the "Detonate X: Charge Type" article on page 27 of the RRG.

"After a unit controlled by any player performs an action, each
unit that has a weapon with the detonate x: charge type
keyword may detonate x friendly charge tokens of the specified
type."

It does not say there are any limitations on line of site or range, so there are none.

That is what i thought but i was afraid I missed it some where.
