I've put Feral Ningyo into play via it's own text. If it gets discarded before the end of the conflict, does it still get shuffled back into my deck, it does it stay discarded? Thank you!

Under the same logic as the Spirtcaller Hisu Mori sacrifice ruling they should stay in the discard.

As part of a card leaving play:

• All lasting effects and/or delayed effects affecting the card while it was in play expire for that card.

Ningyo's ability sets up a delayed effect on it, that will expire prematurely when it leaves play, leaving it in the discard.
