Mando Momma here... (again) With the clone wars I am hoping to see Mandalorian civil war and or Deathwatch as units. With Maul an shadow syndicate possiblities they could be "CIS" Thoughts? Wants? Hates? etc etc-discuss.

This would make me play as Separtists alone. I already play as Imps. Definitely playing the Clones. Going to be a lot of money spent... touché FFG

The new live action TV show is supposedly about Mandalore after the fall of the empire so I imagine there will be units to tie into that for the rebel imperial period. Plus like you say, Clone Wars period willhave loads.

We need an entire Mandalorian faction, not just an element of another faction.

THIS is what I really want. I'm not excited when people say different groups/races should just be grouped together with CIS or GAR or even worse, light side/dark side. We should see individual armies for the different armies. Mandalore can be their own army, Wookies CAN be their own army, I just hope they make races (factions) their own thing and not just group everything in.

All of that takes time. The game has been out less than a year. These single units can eventually grow into factions of their own. They will definitely be doing the main four factions first before they branch out into those smaller ones. Patience young Padawan!!

No no I understand that it may be like that eventually. But my point is that FFG has already added a new unit type that wasn’t outlined in the beginning. They’ve already made Boba Fett for the Empire. They’ve already made Wookies a unit for the Rebels. I get eventually we may get new armies, but I wish they looked ahead before releasing or announcing. It feels like the release schedule just seems to be like “hey let’s introduce these guys for whatever reason”

I think I’m just bothered with the problems that have started to appear with releases and announcements

Be patient my child, the force will reveal all. Anxiousness and anger is the path to the dark side...

I would prefer that they keep it to as few factions as possible but add for example a mandalorian commander, support and vehicle so that you could field a full on mando force or have the option of sprinkling them into your rebel or scum force. Legion so far is offering some really cool list building choices. Right now it is fairly binary. Do I take the nimble rebel troopers or the defensive fleet troopers? Do I take the generalist stormtroopers or the specialist snowtroopers? Hopefully that will expand into more of a rock paper scissors relationship

Exactly. That way one person can field their full mando army and another person can field their rebels or scum supported a few mando units.

With the announcement of CWE, there should be a good chance to see a full Scum faction. Mandos, Pirates, Hutts, and Bounty Hunters were plentiful in the show. They were such a big part I can’t see FFG by passing them. I could see a roll out of Republic vs Sepertists first. Than next Gen con could see the announcement of Scum. 5 factions would definetly be a good place to get the game too. Scum could be unique in that one-two unit’s of scum may be mixed into any army with a specific cost of course. This lines up 100% in cannon as every side used scum in some way. I would be surprised to see them released with the two main CW factions I am really certain we will see it at some point. After all Scum Has become its own faction in every other ffg game.
