Using the New Nemesis Rules

By sinister6, in WFRP Gamemasters

I wanted to show how I'm using the nemesis cards and see if anyone else has creative ideas. My campaign takes place in mordhiem a year before the comet hits. I want to use Orcs and Vlad von Carstein as my party's nemesis (maybe some others eventually)

So using the card I outlined a few things:

Vampire Vlad von Carstien's Unholy Crusade

Agenda

1. Become the count of Sylvania.
2. Get the first book of Nagash.
3. Infiltrate the city of Mordheim
4. Recruit the vampires under one banner on the night of feeding.
5. Turn Isabella to a Vampire.
6. Attempt an alliance with the heroes for warpstone
7. Raise a warband of undead to retrieve some warpstone.
8. Retrieve the second book of Nagash
9. Raise on unholy army.
10. March and take Tablabhiem.
11. March and take Altdorf.

Undermining Stability

1. Keep the books of Nagash from Vlad
2. Remove Isabella before she is turned.
3. Break up the vampire feeding on the night of the party thus breaking up some of Vlad's power base.
4. March with Jerek Krugar against Vlad at the Battle of Schwarthafen.
5. Stop Vlad from getting Warpstone.
6. Stop Vlad from reciting the passages from the book of Nagash.
7. Stop the vampire army from taking Tablahiem.
8. Stop the vampire army from taking Altdorf.
9. Defeat Vlad’s Mordhiem Warband.

Orc Boss Wargash Gnarltooth's Savage Warband

Agenda

1. Build a warband, placing the local goblins under his control.
2. Raid the road and attack pilgrims on their way to Mordheim.
3. Attract more Orc followers by building a temple to Mork and Gork

That's about as far as I've gotten. Any ideas?

Cool. I'll have to wait until the LGS gets the kit in to see how it fits the rules, but looks interesting.

For the orc remember that the warlords aim is threffold.

1) To gather the waagh under your control

2) To keep it under your control

3) To find something worth fighting

So he needs objectives to attack and overwhelm the tribes - you don't make alliances in greenskin diplomacy you force a 'hostile takeover'.

And you need to guard your back from other 'hostile takeovers'. maybe a 'visible reminder' of who is in charge every now and then.

You also need to give the boys something to fight else they tend to wander off. So get them raiding and burning before they get bored - evn if it is helping you with the 'hostile takeovers.
And the bigger the waagh gets the more you need to raid.
