Back when Dark Heresy Second Edition released I made an expanded Divination Table, now on the verge of Wrath & Glory releasing I felt like updating it.

Expanded Divination Table

Roll Result Effect
1 There are no answers. Only Death. Decrease this character's Fate threshold by 1.
2 Flesh is the soul’s mirror. By their misshapen forms will you know their heresy. Roll once on Table 8-16: Mutations and apply the result.
3 Mutation without, corruption within. Roll once on Table 8–15: Malignancies and apply the result.
4 Sins hidden in the heart turn all to decay. Begin play with 3 Corruption Points.
5 Trust Not the Soulless Machine This character treats all weapons which are more complicated than Low-Tech with a (-10) penalty for their use.
6 Trust in your fear. Increase this character’s Perception by 5, they also gains a Minor Mental Disorder "Phobia".
7 Death is but a doorway. When this character Burns a Fate Point to survive, they gain their original Fate Threshold in Insanity Points.
8 By slaying the body we may yet save the soul. If this character has a Corruption Bonus of one or higher then they take a further (-10) penalty to tests involving Ciritical wounds.
9 Beyond the Imperium is only darkness and heresy. While this character is travelling in the void or warp they take a (-10) penalty to Willpower tests.
10 Innocence may mask the quintessence of horrors If this character's Corrution Bonus is not equal to their Fellowship Bonus they take a (-10) to Charm and Decieve tests
11 They that wallow in sin deserve not the mercy of the pyre. If this character has a Malediction or Mutation they take (-10) to resisting tests related to Flame Trait attacks.
12 The pain of the bullet is ecstasy compared to damnation. Reduce this character's Agility characteristic by 3. The first time this character suffers Critical damage each session, roll 1d10. On a result of 10, they do not suffer any Critical Effects, though the damage still counts as Critical damage.
13 Humans must die so that humanity can endure. This character gains the Jaded talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Willpower characteristic by 2 instead.
14 He who hesitates is damned. Increase this character’s Agility or Perception characteristic by 3. Reduce this character’s Toughness or Intelligence characteristic by 3.
15 Faith in the Emperor is the only true armour a warrior needs. This character gains the Deny the Witch talent. If they already possess this talent increase their Willpower characteristic by 2 instead.
16 Be a boon to your allies and the bane of your enemies. This character gains the Hatred (choose any one) talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Strength characteristic by 2 instead.
17 Hard work conquers everything. This character gains the Hardy talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Toughness by 2 instead.
18 Pray earnestly for your tech-devices, just as for your companions at arms. This character gains the Tech Use skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill increase their Intelligence characteristic by 2 instead.
19 The wise learn from the deaths of others. Increase this character's Agility or Intelligence Characteristic by 3. Reduce this character's Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill characteristic by 3.
20 Every man is a spark in the darkness. By the time he is noticed he is gone forever. A retinal after-image that fades and is obscured by newer, brighter lights. Characters (NPC or PC) take a (-10) to any tests to recognize or recall this PCs existence for any reason.
21 Only the guilty fear tomorrow. This character gains the Scrutiny skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill increase their Perception characteristic by 2 instead.
22 The heretic unchecked wreaks havoc among the faithful. For the rest of an encounter, or scene, after this character Spends or Burns a Fate Point they take a (-10) to Resistance Tests that would result in gaining Corruption Points
23 To Question your Duty is to Fail your Duty. If this character is acting following a Command then increase the bonus by a further (+10)
24 Kill the alien before it can speak its lies. This character gains the Quick Draw talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Agility characteristic by 2 instead.
25 Better an eternal martyr than a coward for one instant. This character gains the One-on-One talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Weapon Skill Characteristic by 2 instead.
26 Know the mutant; kill the mutant. Increase Perception by +2.
27 Mourn not the Martyr; give praise instead for such sacrifice. This character gains the Bodyguard talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Agility Characteristic by 2 instead.
28 Wise is he who does not question. Blessed is he who does not think. This character gains the Archivator talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Intelligence Characteristic by 2 instead.
29 Truth is subjective. Increase this character's Perception characteristic by 3. The first time they would gain 1 or more Corruption points each session, they gain that amount plus 1 instead.
30 For every battle honour, a thousand heroes die alone, unsung, and unremembered. Increase this character's Fellowship by 5. This character gains a Minor Mental Disorder "Visions and Voices" related to someone they lost in the line of duty.
31 Thought begets Heresy. Reduce this character's Intelligence characteristic by 3. The first time they would gain 1 or more Corruption points each session, they reduce that amount by 1 (to a minimum of 0) instead.
32 Heresy begets Retribution. Increase this character's Fellowship or Strength characteristic by 3. Reduce his Toughness or Willpower characteristic by 3.
33 Heresy is the Child of Free Thought Tests to resist Interactions skill to this character are one degree more difficult.
34 He who serves best obeys without question. The character gains the Command skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill, increase their Fellowship characteristic by 2 instead.
35 Success is commemorated; Failure merely remembered. This character gains the Grenadier talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Ballistic Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
36 Seek not honour for your sacrifice: the Emperor sees all. This character gains the Peer (GM’s discretion) talent. Reduce this character’s Toughness characteristic by 2.
37 Toil for the Emperor earns redemption; suffering for the Emperor earns piety. This character gains the Flagellant talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Toughness characteristic by 2 instead.
38 The worst enemies are those we make ourselves. This character gains the Enemy (GM’s discretion) talent. They also gain the Hatred talent for the same faction.
39 Ignorance is a blessing not to be disdained by the wise This character gains the Cover-Up talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Intelligence Characteristic by 2 instead.
40 It is not in my mind to ask questions that cannot be answered. That is the soul standing upon the crossroad of vacillation. You search for wisdom, but achieve only a stasis of will. Increse this character's Intelligence characteristic by 5. This character gains a Minor Mental Disorder "Obsession/Compulsion" focusing on an unanswerable question.
41 A mind without purpose wanders in dark places. When gaining Mental Disorders, this character must choose to gain a new Disorder instead of increasing the severity of an existing Disorder.
42 Stand not between Inquisitor and heretic. This character gains the Hard Target talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Toughness characteristic by 2 instead.
43 The foolish man puts his trust in luck, the wise man puts his trust in the Emperor. This character gains the Catfall talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Agility characteristic by 2 instead.
44 Fates worse than death are the just reward of the curious. Whenever this character gains a new Lore skill they also gain one Insanity Point. Going over an Insanity Point threshold in this manner does not trigger Shock.
45 If a job is worth doing, it is worth dying for. Increase this character's Toughness or Willpower characteristic by 3. Reduce their Fellowship or Strength characteristic by 3.
46 Revulsion is a message from the God-Emperor. When this character is making a Fear test due to natural means they gain a (+10) on the next immediate test following the resolution of the Fear Test.
47 The justice of the Imperium can be found at the tip of a bolt shell. This character gains the Weapon Training talent (Las, Low-tech, or Solid Projectile). If this character possesses all three talents increase their Ballistic Skill or Weapon Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
48 Trust only the Emperor, for all others are suspect. This character gains the Double Team talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Weapon Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
49 “There are no civilians in the battle for survival.” Increase Toughness by +2 and gain 1 Wound.
50 There is no right or wrong in our profession. The present changes the past from moment to moment. Only pray for the future to vindicate your action. If this character spends a Fate Point to reroll a test, have them make a Challenging (+0) Willpower test. If they fail they are stunned with indecision for the round, and the Fate Point is not spent.
51 Dishonour your wargear and it will fail you. This character gains the Technical Knock talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Intelligence characteristic by 2 instead.
52 When in doubt, advance towards the sound of the guns. This character gains the Athletics skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill, increase their Perception characteristic by 2 instead.
53 Dark dreams lie upon the heart. Whenever this character would roll on Table 8–15: Malignancies, they may instead select any one result and gain that Malignancy.
54 Only the insane have strength enough to prosper. Increase this character's Willpower characteristic by 3. The first time they would gain 1 or more Insanity points each session, they gains that amount plus 1 instead.
55 Only those who prosper may judge what is sane. Decrease this character's Willpower characteristic by 3. This character lowers their Fellowship by (-10) when interacting with individuals with less Insanity Points than themselves.
56 Violence solves everything. Increase this character's Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill characteristic by 3. Reduce their Agility or Intelligence characteristic by 3.
57 Let your Faith in the Emperor be the Flame that burns the Heretic. This character gains the Counter Attack talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Weapon Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
58 Die if you must, but not with your spirit broken. Increase Willpower by +3.
59 The sword that you sharpen can be turned on you. This character gains the Whirlwind of Death Talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Weapon Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
60 The Rewards of Tolerance are Treachery and Betrayal This character gains the Ambassador Imperialis talent. They also gain the Enemy Talent for a Xeno race that this character has interacted with in their past.
61 Ignorance is a wisdom of its own. Reduce this character's Perception characteristic by 3. The first time they would gain 1 or more Insanity points each session, they reduce that amount by 1 (to a minimum of 0) instead.
62 Your life is not your own to waste. This character gains the Die Hard talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Willpower characteristic by 2 instead.
63 The Emperor often protects best those who fight for him the hardest. This character gains the Devastating Assault talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Weapon Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
64 The gun is mightier than the sword. Increase Ballistic Skill by +3.
65 As the mind to the body so the soul to the spirit, as death to the mortal man so failure to the immortal, such is the price of all ambition. Increase this character's Toughness or Intelligence characteristic by 3. Reduce this character's Agility or Perception characteristic by 3.
66 The coin of the forbidden is worth little yet can buy souls uncounted. Reduce this Character's Strength and Intelligence characteristics by 5. This character gains a Minor Mental Disorder - Compulsion "New Experiences"
67 Do not dream above your allotted station in the Imperial Creed. This character gains the Intimidation Skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill, increase their Willpower characteristic by 2 instead.
68 Blind faith is a just cause. This character gains the Blind Fighting talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Willpower or Perception characteristic by 2 instead.
69 Promethium is salvation for the wicked: be generous with its merciful touch. If this character is using a Flame weapon with an arc, increase the arc of application by an additional 10 degrees.
70 Mercy is not for a man, not for a city, not for a nation, not even for a world. Mercy is for the whole of the Imperium, and never less. This character must make a Challenging (+0) Willpower test when in a position to spare an enemy. If they fail then they will act in a manner that dispatches the enemy as expidently (and violently) as possible.
71 A suspicious mind is a healthy mind. Increase this character’s Perception characteristic by 2. Additionally, they may re-roll Awareness tests to avoid being Surprised.
72 In the darkness, follow the light of Terra. Increase Willpower by +3.
73 By the purity of our righteous fire shall we cleanse tainted worlds. This character gains the Two Weapon Wielder talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill characteristic by 2 instead
74 Suffering is an unrelenting instructor. Reduce this character's Toughness characteristic by 3. The first time that this character suffers any damage each session, he gains a +20 bonus to the next test he makes before the end of his next turn.
75 Deeds are but the pale ghosts of intentions. This character gains the Logic skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill, increase their Intelligence characteristic by 2 instead.
76 The only true fear is dying without your duty done. This character gains the Resistance (Cold, Heat, or Fear) talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Toughness characteristic by 2 instead.
77 Death spares the innocent from inevitable corruption. Reduce this Character's Agility and Willpower characteristic by 5. When attempting to resist Toxins Trait effects increase the test as if the Toxin trait was (X+1)
78 By my fury they shall know the Emperor’s Name. This character gains the Swift Attack talent If they already possess this talent, increase their Weapon Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
79 The enemies of Man cannot stand before the Emperor’s chosen. This character gains the Leap Up talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Agility characteristic by 2 instead.
80 When the Heretic turns from the Master of Mankind, he turns his back on his very humanity. This character gains the Peer (GM’s discretion) talent of a heretical organization. This has left them with a noticable mark which in certain situations (GM discretion) will give a (-10) to social interactions.
81 Fear most that which lurketh unseen. This character gains the Nowhere to Hide talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Perception characteristic by 2 instead.
82 A weapon’s place is not to question. You are the Hammer of the Emperor; vanquish His foes without thought or doubt. This character gains the Ambidextrous talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Agility characteristic by 2 instead.
83 The Emperor’s deliverance relies upon the guns of the Battlefleet. This character gains the Marksman talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Ballistic Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
84 Innocence is an illusion. This character gains the Keen Intuition talent. If they already possess this talent, increase ther Intelligence characteristic by 2 instead.
85 Judge not the righteous, lest you be judged and found wanting This character gains the Interrogation skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill, increase their Strength or Willpower characteristic by 2 instead.
86 All sinners fear the Emperor’s wrath. This character gains the Frenzy talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Toughness characteristic by 2 instead.
87 Courage Comes from Duty This character gains the Iron Jaw talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Willpower characteristic by 2 instead.
88 There is no peace among the stars. Reduce this Character's Ballistic Skill and Fellowship characteristic by 5. When attempting to Disengage an opponent this character must pass a Challenging (+0) Willpower test or become Stunned.
89 To war is human. This character gains the Dodge skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill, increase their Agility characteristic by 2 instead.
90 Scorn the heretic; his path will end in eternal damnation. This character gains the Psyniscience skill at Rank 1 (Known). Increase this character's Insanity Points by their Intelligence Bonus. If they already possess the skill it does not increase but the Insanity Points are still gained.
91 Our faith hones our hate to be clean and strong. The character gains the Rapid Reload talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Ballistic Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
92 There is no substitute for zeal. This character gains the Clues from the Crowds talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Fellowship characteristic by 2 instead.
93 In His service one is never sacrificing, nor shall one ever sacrifice enough. This character gains the Sound Constitution talent. If they already possess this talent, increase their Toughness characteristic by 2 instead.
94 By his assassins will you know his worth. This character gains the Stealth skill at Rank 1 (Known). If they already possess this skill, increase their Agility characteristic by 2 instead.
95 Oppose the Alien at every road, it is your duty. This character gains the Exotic Weapon Proficiency talent for a Xenos weapon. If they already possess this talent for all Xeno weapons, increase their Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill characteristic by 2 instead.
96 Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life. Increase Strength by +2.
97 Only in death does duty end. The first time this character would suffer Fatigue each session, they suffer that amount of Fatigue minus 1 (to a minimum of 0) instead.
98 An ocean of courage is not the equal of a drop of faith. The first time a session this character spends a Fate Point to gain a bonus to a Fear Test they gain a further (+10) bonus.
99 Know that the warp goes where it pleases, into man, beast, and machine. Reduce this character's Weapon Skill and Toughness characteristics by 5. When attempting to resist a Malignancy or Mutation Test increase the difficulty of the test by one degree.
100 Do not ask why you serve. Only ask how. Increase this character's Fate threshold by 1.
Results of 01, 10, and 100 cannot be reversed
A result that isn't 01, 10, or 100 can be reversed, if possible, and the other result taken.
