When usIng the bombardment attack from the command card is LOS from veers or what? It seems like the attack comes from off screen so I wasn’t sure.
Veers question
Yes you do need line of sight. It works the same way as Leia's command card.

You treat the attack as if Veers is attacking, with all that it implies (for example, that attack benefits from the Sharpshooter 1 abbility of Veers)
Don't take this as a negative toward you, OP, I'm just publicly musing...these two cards sure get a lot of questions! The cards say "he/she may perform an attack," I don't get why so many people are confused as to whether it somehow acts differently from all the other times those units attack.

Thematically, those cards are presented as coming from a unit not on the battlefield. I can kinda get it, especially if players aren't coming from other FFG games and familiar with how they write rules.

I suppose that's the root of it...I might estimate that 80% of the rules questions I come across in various games come from people trying to interpret or execute something thematically instead of just doing what the words tell them to.

Well, sharpshooter applies because his orders are so precise, and he's the one saying "attack these guys, but don't shoot at them too close from me if you miss".
If you want to go the thematic route.
