OK, I looked at Pursued by the Bear's sheets, they look good, stat wise. They do need descriptions and backgrounds though. I would also recommend that he add at least a basic Utility Belt to his Master character.
Jedi Star Misc thread
Oh, here's an update to the Jedi Star 's floorplans.
@Tramp Graphics , probably should leave them to choose their own equipment etc. Also why are you changing the ship layout?
@TheShard , @EliasWindrider and @Jonas Shaaf , you guys still need to choose your preferences regarding the new applicant.

I'm just thinking for practicality, so he has something to hang his lightsaber on. As I said, it's just a recommendation , not an order.
As for the minor change to the layout, It's because the original place I had put the captain's quarters, wasn't very practical, and impeded access to the various electronic systems under the bridge, and the Concussion Missile magazine. So that area needed to be open for maintenance access. Also, that section of the ship is a cylinder , so the floor in that section of the ship curves up into the walls, much like how the ceiling of the upper deck in that section arches down to the floor. While fine for a hallway, having an arched floor isn't all that practical for living quarters. Not only that, but given that it was partially hidden behind the main entry hatch, it was also not that easy to access. That's OK for a systems' maintenance access a cold storage area for the ship's food stores, or even water tanks and/or waste disposal (though the last works better being towards the rear under the floor), but not for living quarters. Technically, that area is where the entry ramp "should" have gone when I originally built the 3D model of the ship, but... The change also puts the Captains quarters directly across from the "crew"/students' quarters. The overall layout of the bulkheads doesn't change all that much. Now, granted, both the "new" Captain's quarters and crew quarters do have a sloped section of floor along the outermost wall, but it's only along one wall each and only takes up about one meter of depth, which is perfect for the beds.
For the library and workshop, I had actually finally completed the 3D models for a power hammer and English wheel that were added to the actual 3D workshop room (render coming soon). I still need to make and then a belt sander (how to rig a working belt on a 3D model I have no idea). Also, as seen in the render below, I also found out that the bookshelves I originally had along the forward most wall of the library, didn't fit because how the ceiling suddenly drops off before meeting that wall. This sloped section of the ceiling runs across the entire wingspan of the ship from port to starboard. This ended up cutting off 3/4 of the top shelf, and halfway through the books I had originally put there. You can see how it cuts off part of the wall section where the door is, and how tall the bookshelves are. So those shelves along that front wall had to go. So now they're only along the two side walls. This also opens up more walk space around the table. As such, there were several practical considerations necessitating these alterations. I had also found a better looking (more " Star Wars "y) holo-table than the one I was originally using. I'm in the process of doing a series of 3D full renders of all of the different sections of the ship right now. However, each is taking over a day to fully render.
So, basically, the changes to the floor plans were done to better match up with the actual 3D model.
Oh, here's a shot of Korath in the Dojo.

The only objections I have to any of the characters is that they don't obey the character creation rules. The character named CT-# seems to be a force sensitive clone trooper who would be dead by this time frame, but maybe he was chilling in carbonite.

Seth and Marcus Wasting are my favorites.
Ok, so @Jonas Shaaf 's preferences are Seth and Marcus Wasting, @Tramp Graphics said he also likes Marcus Wasting, @EliasWindrider and me seems to quite like Titus (though I also did like Seth's). That currently leaves a 3 way split with @TheShard yet to choose. I think really everyone will have to choose 1 person as their favourite and go from there to make this easy. For the record though I also don't have a problem with Equinox joining as they only want to play one character and so won't be a major issue to manage.
Also so we have a bit of finality on the subject, I am going to move that we cap all characters at 2,200 xp, no negotiations beyond that. I also recommend @EliasWindrider takes over after me with the next session. If there any issues with that choice of gm, I invite you to gm instead. Unless anyone has any major objections, I say this be set in stone so we don't have to revisit.

I was curious about that myself.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Capping". Do you mean starting XP cap for the Masters or how high they can ultimately advance?
The only thing Marcus Wasting has to change is to remove the connection between his two characters.
Edited by Tramp GraphicsI mean master's cannot gain more than 2200 xp.
I'm voting for the apprentice only candidate. I'm looking over the others. I'll make a choice by Friday.

Before I take the GM reigns, I want Tramp to explicitly sign on for it.
@TheShard is correct.
@EliasWindrider , to be fair he doesn't have many other alternative at this point.

Fair enough, he also has had plenty of opportunity to object and didn't.
I consider 2200 a little low for a cap.
As for Elias GMing, given what happened in the last game, the only way I'd sign off on him GMing is if he promises not to try and force rules changes to the RAW, such as how he tried to "reinterpret" the sensor/comms ranges on starships.

It was a consistent with onscreen evidence justification for how the chase rules ACTUALLY run by RAW, which you were dead wrong about and insisting on an against RAW ruling in your favor on, in addition to insisting to an against RAW ruling on how the full throttle set of talents. The sensor rules aren't self consistent, or consistent with onscreen evidence, but even ignoring that, it had zero effect on how RAW says a chase scene plays out.
@Tramp Graphics , you seem to be the only one to have an issue with the cap, so I'm going to say tough. And if anyone brings up the **** from the last game again I'm going to kick off and start handing out some repercussions. @EliasWindrider is gm'ing. I'm not doing it, @TheShard has said he wants Elias to go next, and I don't think @Jonas Shaaf has shown any particular interest in it. Accept it, or don't, this is the games make or break moment. If you want to make it, let him gm, if you want to break it, don't. I hope your next post will be in support of this, because if not we have a pretty serious issue. Also you should not be trying to set an ultimatum to a gm like this, pretty disrespectful. He's made no sign during this entire game of wanting to alter or homebrew rules, and anything that is added/altered will be discussed in advance of its use.
So I'm looking for everyone's top 3.
This is the background for exit pursued by a bear's PCs 8 didn't know he didn't put it on the sheets.
Ok, my character concepts are as follows:
For the Jedi Master Character, I have in mind an idea inspired by Star Treks II and III. This character was never taught how to use the force, but through a chance of fate: they gained the knowledge and experience of a fallen Jedi Knight. After the Clone Wars, this old soldier would retire to a relatively peaceful life tending to vehicles as a mechanic. Then, during the Galactic Civil War, their connect to the Force sparked: and they were forced to teach themselves the way of the force, guided by the memories of their fallen Jedi comrade. I can envision this being a particularly long-lived Clone Trooper (CT 5711) who can't remember whether or not he pulled the trigger, killing his Jedi partner, or a young fighter named Eli who joined the Jedi's side when the war came to his home planet.
Statswise: this would be a Guardian Career Human, with specializations in Warleader, Armorer, and Soresu Defender.
For the Apprentice, I am proposing a youn Human from a heavily Industrialized Core World named Tycho. Throughout his adolesence, he has floated just above the poverty line by racing whatever he could for whomever was willing to pay him. He could have made more money as racer, but always cared too much for his friends who were still struggling to eat. This was not simply charity, however: they had saved his life (or at least his freedom from incarceration) a handful of times and has supporting him when he needed helm too. During his last race, there was a terrible accident wherein many racers lost their lives. There was no way that Tycho should have lived, but he did. He couldn't explain why, but he knew--in the blink of an eye-- to overextend his port ailerons. Normally when he flew, he could "feel" all the different paths he could take, but this time there was only one. Most said he cheated, or that he acted malliciously. Even if Tycho had wanted to, there would have been an uproar had he tried to claim the grand prize for finishing the race. All Tycho wanted to do was retire into the shadows and learn more about the strange abilities he possessed.
Statswise: this Human Character would have the Sentinel Career and the Racer Specialization. At the point of character creation, he will be very middling in any combat situations. He's very much still a kid no matter how resourceful of a pilot he may be.
Equinox is top as they are interested in apprentice only. I prefer a smaller group of characters. Equinox is enthusiastic and will hopefully help keep up a good pace with the pbp.
Seth is a close second. I think his matter character has a lot to say about what it means to be a Jedi in a time of chaos.
Followed by titus or bear tied at third.
Edited by TheShard
Equinox is in no matter what. And we can still have one more with both master and apprentice. And my top pic is still Marcus Wasting. His characters require the fewest changes.
Edited by Tramp GraphicsTitus, Seth and Equinox are my top 3 in that order.
@Jonas Shaaf your character being a sentinel type, would probably be the best master for Aris Renn, that and Jonas' speech at the funeral home is probably the only reason she's sticking around right now after her initial treatment by Korath.
So it's equinox, what about Seth and Titus? Those are my choices for second.
Your thoughts?
2 minutes ago, TheShard said:So it's equinox, what about Seth and Titus? Those are my choices for second.

I liked their narrative better than the others, only problem I had was that they didn't follow the campaign build rules (used too much xp for starting master characters)
That can easily be fixed I'd say.
So do you wanna bring on all 3? Or which of the two?
My biggest issue with Seth and Titus, beyond their Master's having too many XP, is that I'd like to have at least one more female apprentice in the party. Out of all of the apprentices currently in the party (not counting any characters yet to be introduced), only one is female. The "Student quarters" on board the Jedi Star consists on one four person room and one three person room; one for males, one for females.
As for Seth. Aside from his Master character's XP discrepancy, his apprentice's species is uncertain, and that would seriously affect his Ability scores. In the species slot, it says Cerean, but in his Motivations and Notable Features, he claims either Nagai or Miraluka (the latter of which we don't have any PC stats for), and his stats don't match up with Nagai stats from the USM. He's just too "unfinished."
I did notice that Titus did already fix his Master character's XP.
As for Bear, his Master character would need a name change, since being a former Clone trooper is out of the question. Changing it to "Eli", and going with the young fighter background would be far more appropriate.
