Grenades

Quick question.

I have 5 stormtroopers with a dlt-19 unit add on and concussion grenades.

At range one would I get 5 white dice (troopers), 2 red dice(DLT-19), 5 black dice(Grenades), Blast and impact 1?

or would I have to pick the grenades and not use the 5 white dice at all.

Nobody in our group has used Grenades.

This is correct. In that example, you can take 5 white dice, 5 black grenade dice, 2 of one and 3 of the other, or however else you want to mix them. But each model only gets to use one weapon, whether its their gun or a grenade.

The only time a miniature can use two of their weapons in a single attack sequence is when they have Arsenal x. The x represents how many weapons they can fire at once. For example the AT-ST has Arsenal 2 as a unit keyword so it can fire two weapons in the same turn, whether that’s at separate units or the same unit. In combination with the General Weiss upgrade card, you can exhaust the upgrade card to gain an additional Arsenal 2 for that turn making it so the AT-ST can fire 4 weapons in one turn.
