Recover Rule Clarifications

By Commander_Of_The_Inferno_Legion, in Rules

Hey everyone,

I just want clarify Recover for exhausted Weiss and Troopers in the 3 example below.

Example One: AT-ST with General Weiss

Turn one:General Weiss is Exhausted to obtain Arsenal 4 for the AT-ST. He then used first action to aim and then second action to shoot 4 weapons with Arsenal 4.

Next turn. When the AT-ST activates. His first action is the Recover Action which readies Weiss card again.

The player then exhausts Weiss card again to obtain Arsenal 4.

The AT-ST then shoots with 4 weapons with Arsenal 4.

What I am clarifying is based on the example above. Unless destroyed or Ion is applied technically with using Recover as the first action the AT-ST can utilize and shoot with Weiss every turn.

Correct?

Example two: Stormtrooper with HH-12

A unit of stormtroopers don't move. Their first action is to aim. Second action is to shoot. Shooting the HH-12 exhaust the upgrade card.

Next turn the HH-12/Stormtrooper squad first turn uses the recover action. Which readies the HH-12 card. Can the HH-12 now shoot as the second action?

Example Three: Same example as example two. BUT before the Stormtroopers with the HH-12 activate they receive 1 suppresion token.

That stormtrooper/HH-12 squad activates and they successfully remove the 1 suppresion token in the Rally step.

Do they still get two actions now?

Recover and then can shoot the HH-12 again

Thank you for your help and your time.

Yes, they can Recover as their first action and Attack as their second action

If they remove the Suppression token in the Rally step then yes, they will receive two actions and can Recover and then Attack.

If they fail to remove the suppression in the rally step, they only get one action. Even if their first action is Recover, which would remove the suppression tokens.

Recover doesn’t retroactively provide you more actions, your limited by what you have after the rally step. Check the email compilation thread for a dev email on the subject

NeonWolf didn't claim it did. He answered the questions correctly.

Thank you everyone! Greatly appreciated!

My bad, I could have sworn it read differently. Must have been reading too fast.
