Played a learning game based on FFG’s Endor video. Just two units per side, playing breakthrough. Fun way to introduce the rules to someone so as a learning experience if worked great. Ended up tied 0:0 for Victory points after six rounds.
Basically I kept my Troopers in cover and survived the first round attack from his speeders. Using ion troopers I managed to take out the speeders without taking much damage. His troopers never made much impact and we ended up exchanging fire through heavy cover and not having much effect. He was down to 3 troopers and I had one untouched unit and one with just the leader remaining. I made an attempt to bolt for his deployment zone right at the end but came up about half a movement 1 short, lol.
lots of fun. Looking forward to bigger battles.
