Yeah this should have been done at launch, would have sold like hot cakes. Then for those of us who would have used them- we'd have plenty of normal bases left to put custom stuff on. Conveniently Im working on an industrial/ Imperial base board so I'll most likely be swapping majority of my minis over to these, we'll see how easy they come off.

I get that it might have been a stretch to put these out at launch, but an announcement would have been nice back in March or shortly there after so we could have anticipated a bit.....you're dropping the ball again FFG!

I agree, but probably the vast majority of people who will ever play Legion haven't even started yet. Its still early days.

QfT

They look nice but I already have based my guys and probably still would have based them myself if these were available from day one.

Its just going to feel.... wrong? to have all my old guys with their current bases and any new ones with these.

*Sigh*

I get it, I do. Businesses are designed to make money, I work for one. But this seems, I dunno, too much? I'd be curious to see what their costs vs. returns look like on this in 12 months. They look cool but I won't be buying any. Unless they come with battle cards which would just be silly.

Ive seen people,on the forums asking where they can get more bases. I guess this is the answer.

Might put my Fleets on this for a ship boarding fight look.

I can’t see how this is anything but positive. It’s another option for people. If you have already based your army or don’t want to pay for them, then just ignore them.

I think what you might be interpreting as negativity is simply disappointment.

I'm happy to see these. And from what I've gathered just by shopping for accessories this is a typical tabletop game company thing to do.

In fact I've been waiting for these so I can cut my Imperial Assault minis off of their bases. Homebrew mercs FTW!
