Suppression and stand by token.

By TheChaser, in Rules

So I have a question.

A rebel unit has a stand by token.

I plan to move in with my stormtroopers and attack.

I move.

He attacks and has one hit.

I remove a unit and get a suppression token.

Know I can't attack anymore. As the condition says I can only do one action when suppression = moral.

When the opponent allways uses standby you can't come close.

Is this correct?

This has been asked several times recently, if you do a forum search for suppression.

According to the rules as written in the RRG, you have a suppression token during your turn so you're limited to one action, which you already took.

However, there are reports of verbal clarification from the designer at AdeptiCon (and, I believe, something in the e-mail thread) stating that the intent is for the number of actions to be calculated for your entire turn during the Rally phase - so a suppression token gained mid-turn would not stop you. However, this is for the rules update to address.

Take a look at the email thread. Alex Davy clarified the number of actions is determined in the rally step. If you gain a suppression during your activation you do not lose your other action.

edit: here ya go!
