Combat Card Timing

By ZveroMaxx, in StarCraft

As explained in rulebook, if two players have abilities that are resolved at the same time, the atackers's abilities are resolved before the defenders.

Q:

zealot + zealot + dark archon with feedback card - defend

marine + science vessel with irradiate card - attack

Marine and Zealot have suffisient strenght for destroy each other

I think, irradiate provides +1 for atack anyway, becouse it's resolved first

then, Feedback card destroys Science Vessel, and cancel reinforcement card. But i don't know - cancel splash damage had triggered before or not.

Sorry,

I have found answer: Cancel - this ability must resolve before anyone.

Feedback is a specific card, which both those rules do not concern.

- vs EMP: EMP is always resolved first

- vs any other Technology card: if there are no more Assist units which could use it, the card is removed without any effect

How to know that EMP is always resolved first?

In my opinion ,rainforce card timing depend of which is attacker and defend?

IF EMP is attacker, defender have no any rainforce card

IF EMP is defender, attacker rainforce card had already resolved, and emp just cast damage bonus for protoss unit

Am I wrong?

I search the rule book in pg 38 , at the topic of CANCEL

the example show that , EMP discard the Hallucination first as it is attacker.

EMP should trump all normal reinforcment cards, but I don't think EMP should cancel feedback. The question in my mind is does EMP still have effects on Protoss units if it is destroyed by feedback. I'm sure there's an easy answer to this but I can't think of it right now...
