Nasty displacement

By Deuzerre, in Rules

So I made an AT-RT move through a unit's models to get into contact with the unit leader (not displacing the leader).
Moving the minis caused suppression on the unit
And then I bashed their skulls in a bit.

I don't see anything in the rules preventing that, correct?

At first glance it all looked good, but then there’s this from the Displacement entry:

Quote

When placing a displaced mini, it cannot be placed in
base contact with an enemy mini.

It might be that if you’re goal is to start a melee, you must stop your movement at the first mini you come across along the path. Either that, or you’ve found an illegal game state and the whole universe implodes!

Edit: hold on, after thinking about it a bit more I think you’re totally in the clear. The other minis don’t need to be in base contact. As long as 1 mini (in your example, the unit leader) is in contact then the entire unit is in a melee. So ignore everything I said above as there is no illegal game state, haha. The universe is fine, move along!
