I am a Town Gladiator. I took that role when Vis died. Previously I was a Town Lyncher with a vendetta against Vis. When he died in the nightkill, my role changed to Gladiator.

As Gladiator I have an ability, and I think this is as good a time as any to use it.

My job was to target a specific subsect of the sith that the Jedi had identified as especially dangerous (paraphrasing wildly here to avoid quoting my pm) and take steps to neutralize them before they gained too much sway. In game parlance, that meant leading a lynch on a mafia member.

Again, I’m literally the only person in this game who CANNOT be the remaining mafia player.

Yup, and I've tried to reconcile everything that has gone on. The fact that I know that roles can change influenced my thinking. What if Mads was a jedi, but then turned dark once the game went on? Again, this is the easiest solution in my mind. I could be wrong.

Could totally be. The problem is that if he's really a Town investigator, he's actions don't give him clairvoyance on who is scum unless he gets lucky and pegs one. I'd currently argue that he "got one" with Mads - getting a Jedi. I've read him as town from the start., but could be totally wrong.
