Number of minis equals a unit

By animattor78, in Rules

On the standard rebel and stormtrooper card it has a basic unit listed as 4. This includes the units commander, correct?

whats confusing is all graphical representations of units in both the learn to play and rules reference shows units as having 5 minis including the commander.

So my question is how many minis make a unit without heavy weapons? 4 or 5?

thanks

i know this might sound really obvious

Four as it says on the card.

Standard unit is one leader and three troopers. The unit has one Personnel upgrade slot, which can add one additional standard trooper and one Heavy Weapons upgrade slot, which adds one heavy weapons trooper. So the maximum troopers a unit can have is six. The units in the graphics simply have that extra trooper from the Personnel slot.

Right in the beginning of the play examples in the Rulebook there is mentioned that for the purpose of making the test game more interesting, the units are played with 5 troopers instead of 4 ;)
