Elias puts his hand on the door and closes his eyes trying to sense the emotions of the Chiss behind the door to help Elias pick the right words to influence the Chiss and create a positive impression of them in him.

We were about to go to the new republic base when you flew in and I had a feeling that you were going there too and would like to know that we were going there to confront two bounty hunters, a gand findsman and pale female twi'lek, who were waiting to ambush someone. We don't know precisely who they are hunting, but if it's us we decided to deal with them on terms we get to set rather than have a gand findsman on our tail to the rim and back. As for who we are, I know things that I shouldn't and there are additional reasons beyond the fact that we stole a first order shuttle that we believe the bounty hunters may be after us. I'm happy to tell you that in person, quietly but I don't like talking loudly through a door because it increases the odds of us being overheard.

Chemdat continues: and if you think she did that with echolocation or something just ask the "blind" lady what color your shirt is. Elias just doesn't want to spell it out for you when other people are listening, but I'm sure he'll answer all of your questions in detail in private and give you any demonstration that you care for as proof that he can do what he's claiming he can. We come from a place where demonstrations that what you're claiming is true is a part of normal conversation but Arvel finds that annoying so maybe you do to.

We met on Dantooine about a week ago and escaped a first order invasion by stealing the personal shuttle of the former imperial inquisitor leading the assault. I had attempted to train my brother Chemdat in the ways of the Jedi but our familial bond was getting in the way... basically Chemdat doesn't want to listen to what his older brother is trying to teach him, so the reason we left our very backwater homeworld was to find my former Jedi Master Korath Lorren because hopefully Chemdat will listen to him because he's not family. We met Lieutenant Arvel Venn a few hours ago and he signed up for what amounts to a jedi leadership class to help him take down the first order. While we were talking, I took a glimpse at the future and saw a pale female twi'lek and gand bounty hunter team setting up an ambush back at the new republic base. We don't actually know who they're hunting but it could very well be us and our collective wisdom was to confront them now on terms we get to set rather than having a probable gand findsman dogging our trail to the Rim and back. I was advocating that we use our ships guns to hold their ship hostage to force them to come out and parlay, and if that wasn't enough to discourage them we blow up their ship to make the point that hunting us is unprofitable. Of course since you're force sensitive and you work for who was it, oh the black sun, and you're going to the base to salvage whatever you can, you might be who they're targeting. Given that all 6 of us in this docking bay are force sensitive, our collective impression might have been enough for the findsman to target a generic force sensitive. We were about to fly to the base when you were heading to the pad next door and I took another glance at the future to see if you were a threat and found out that you could be a valuable ally. So that's the general overview, do you have any questions for us?

Elias: Tino, either before or after we deal with the bounty hunters we're going to need a ride off planet. Since you're here maybe we could go with you aboard your fine ship, it looks like a CEC ship to me but I'm not familiar with this particular model, if you're willing to do that we could fence the first order shuttle to a smuggling operation with the resources to switch the transponder codes, an then pay you several thousand credits for your troubles, we could probably get 70K for it and since there are 7 of us present, if you were to join our group split 7 ways that should be roughly 10 thousand credits each. Dealing with the bounty hunters can wait, while we try to find a buyer... what do you say?

Arvel, what section of the city did your superior officers tell you to stay clear of in order to proverbially keep your nose clean?
