"Wha you hink bug mate?" Xanth says to Kark.

"You what mate? Oh you wanna get me oot by mah sel in the wilderness? You some kinda perv, is that it?"

Jonas just starts laughing. Loudly.

The bird keeper would consider the jedi's as he turns back to his stool. There was a rickety stack of metal crates behind it which he would begin to rummage through. 'None o' your parkas or boots here. Most folks who come out here come prepared see. Mind I should have some furs left spare. Let me see'.

As snowballs are flung around behind him the drall would spin around, pointing at those throwing them. 'Oi!' he would shout in frustration. 'You hit one of the ibbits with those and you'll lose an arm!'.

To Korath's question Kark would shrug. 'I learnt industrial engineering, ship mechanics, stuff like that you know? Handy for work back home kind of thing'.

He would turn to look at Xanth as he considers the question, perhaps for a little longer than was polite. 'I mean, I've heard some things about the jedi, some not so good. The reason that I'm even still on this planet is because I wanted to study some of the old beliefs like those. I mean, maybe if we all stick together we'll be ok, you know? I don't know, may be worth it'.

If Reesh could raise an eyebrow he would. 'Reesh does not have wandering arms, Reesh can assure you'. With that would would wrap an arm around her to make sure he wouldn't drop her on the climb. With a click and a whirr, the servos in the armour begin to wind back to pull the pair to the roof. After the cable reaches its end, a quick scramble up has the pair standing atop of the base. From here they can see the city off in the distance, a quiet and almost sad place now.

Reesh would give the loose roof panel a kick with his boot, shifting it half an inch or so. They could see clearly into the base now, a short drop down would land them in what looked like a central room of sorts. Crouching down to push the panel clear the gand hops down into the room bellow. His boots strike the metal floor with a dull thud. As he straightens up he glances around the room. It was nearly empty, stripped bare long before the hunters got here. Only a few chairs, tables and a computer panel against the side of the wall remained.

“Is there a store nearby where we can get proper gear. I have a cloak if I need it, but that won’t help keep the feet warm and dry. And the boy and young lady will need proper coats at the very least.

This is what Korath is looking for:

The jedi and Arvel Venn arrive at docking bay 404. As he disconnects the refueling lines from the first order shuttle, Elias asks: So lets put it to a vote, are we heading for the Rim or the New Republic base to confront the bounty hunters?

Ooc: Docking bay not found

Ic: I'm not sure if I could keep us hidden for long in the rim to big a group but why would we go to the republic that's just asking for trouble

Arvel reponds, "I defer to the folks who've been fighting longer than I've been alive. I abstain." He looks at Akua, "Ma'am?"

OOC: you got the reference

IC: The reason would be to deal with the problem while we have the advantage before they know who they're dealing with so we don't have to keep looking over our shoulders, because running from a findsman involves a lot of running and not much hiding because hiding from a findsman just doesn't work. And formidable gand bounty hunter is almost synonymous with findsman.

I've dealt with findsmen before but usually I'm only hiding myself and one other and if you think the republic is the better option I won't object

The keeper would shrug as he pulls a large stack of furs roughly fashioned into coats and cloaks from one of the battered metal boxes. 'Yeh out of luck friend. Most people make their own up here, pretty simple job really. 'I can let these go for-' he'd pause as he rolls the price around his mouth for a moment. 'Hundred credits each? You'll need them if you're going north'.

" Korath, bind the scraps around your feet. It'll work... It'll just be awfully uncomfortable making your way if the snow gets thick but maybe it'll wear out that youngling of yours, kriff he's still going full speed. Does it ever turn off?"

"Not so far he doesn't," Korath replies. "We also need gloves too."

Pulling out his comlink, he calls R2S3. "S3, bring my backpack with the wilderness survival gear in it to my current location." Once the droid arrives with the pack, Korath pulls out the All Weather Cloak from the survival kit inside, and then dons it before closing the pack and strapping that on as well as the droid heads back to the ship.

Alua puffed her cheeks as she thought.

I still stand by the idea of ambushing them while we can to as Elias said, clear out this problem. It’ll be tricky... but I think we can do it.

Tino flew his ship through the atmosphere of Gorse, heading for a landing pad.

Elias: ok, that's settled, I'll fly us there.

once in the air Elias continues

So now we need to agree on how to ambush them, using the ship to hold theirs hostage or walking in to spring their trap and trying to turn the tables.

The keeper would shrug as the group talk. 'You seen what I got, and I told you the price strangers. If you're looking to rent flight with the Ibbit's, it's 50 credits each. I can charge less for them because if you fall off they'll find their way home'. He didn't seem too interested in the going on before him, he would scoop up the bucket once more and begin to feed the huge birds as he waits for their decision.

On Gorse, the party would spot the new ship coming towards them with little issue. In fact the nearest landing pad is next to their own.

Spotting the ship coming at them, Elias quickly peers into the future regarding the ship and it's pilot to see if they will attack the party.

The newly fur-decked Jonas looks at his reflection off of a piece of somewhat polished metal. "Man, these furs are fine! You know Korath, this reminds me of when I was a padawan. My ol' master had me shut down some pimps down on the lower levels of Coruscant. They was lowlife, no bull, but those cats knew how to dress. Furs. Gold. Serious high life stuff. Dig?"

"E' talk right weird, mate. Ken?"

Kark would pat down his pockets as the others begin to buy the furs. 'I, erm, I seem to have misplaced my credits. Or did I spend them? Or did I give them to Tranel? No, I think I spent them. Anyway, I could do with a lone if that's ok? Please?'

"I've got ya bug mate! Should have a load o' cred...... Oh, uh maybo no........."

After just clearing the docking bay, Elias immediately sets the stolen first order shuttle back down

Sorry for the delay but the Chiss pilot of the incoming Corellian transport that's about to set down in the docking bay next door to us has the potential to be a great ally. Although the future is always in motion, in many possible futures his path runs along side ours... I have difficulty pronouncing Chiss names so hopefully he'll give us a short nickname for us to call him by.

Oooh! New allies!

Akua exclaimed.

Is he... force sensitive?

She then asked Elias.

As he made his way down, Tino spotted a First order shuttle next to his landing pad.

Awww crap.

he cursed.

This mission was already hard. Now I have the bucket heads here too...
