I'd like that. I know a little about a lot of things and a lot about ancient history, force using traditions, and the cultures they originate in. When I originally left my homeworld i did so with the purpose of learning all I could from Masters Luke Skywalker and Korath Lorren, so I could bring that knowledge back to my tribe.

Luke? Korath? if you want to know things on the force you want Yoda. HE knows everything about the force and some say he can't die and with good reason his been leading the jedi since anyone can remeber. surly you know this?

Master Luke Skywalker said Yoda became one with the Force slightly before the battle of Endor about 30 years ago; Yoda faded away right in front of his eyes, however Luke still talked to Yoda, or claimed to, after Yoda died. It's possible that Master Skywalker was putting on a show by talking to himself but I don't think he was faking the conversations. Korath was my jedi master, he was trained by the Duinuogwuin Jedi Master Oruk'Ryu'Ken, who was also ancient. He predated the Rusan Reformation.

Master Luke Skywalker said Yoda died on Dagobah, you could try going there for confirmation, otherwise Master Skywalker might be able to help you come to terms with it but beyond what I've just told you I don't think I can help you with this.

Arvel leans over to Akua and quietly asks, "So, did you know Yoda too? My grandfather used to tell stories about him. I think gramps even met him once on Coruscant."

"Remind me Reesh. This Force user doesn't need to be brought in alive does it?"

Arissa grins to herself as she loads rounds into her 38.

Elias: I can't get a bead on the location of the pale female twi'lek, but the gand at least appears to be waiting to ambush us at the new republic base. I'd suggest we show up in the first order shuttle and request a parley over the loudspeaker.

Oh... yes I did.

Akua smiled.

Master Yoda was... the best.

"Shall we be going?" Drez'n hollers annoyed, "We do have a galaxy to save!"

"Where's the closest shop to get the gear we need?" Korath asks. "You're the local expert."

Reesh would glance at Arissa for a moment as he turns to make his way back into the main hold of the ship. 'Reesh has only brought in one force user alive before, but Reesh was young and reckless. Reesh does not take those risks any more'. With that said the elderly gand would recover his pack, guns and staff, preparing to disembark when they land.

The battered craft would come down with a dull thump a little outside of the republic base. Despite it only having been abandoned for a short amount of time, it was looking a little run down. It had needed work before the soldiers had left, and one officer does not make a maintenance team. It is a squat grey building made of large pods and corridors that lead to the larger central structure. Relatively easy to set up and dismantle, these types of structures had been made popular during the republics recovery period after the war with the empire.

Reesh would stride down the boarding ramp, glancing up at the dour grey metal of the structure. He would keep his staff in his hand, leaving his rifle and net gun strapped against the side of his pack. He would glance over his shoulder and call out to his work partner. 'Looks like the republic abandoned this place. Still worth a look though'. He would make his way up to the huge blast door that sealed the base shut, and notice a small blinking panel to the left of it. Presumably this was the control panel to get in. Reesh would glance at Arissa as he talks. 'You any good with locks?'.

On Drall Kark would pipe up again as the adults discuss their next action. 'I think the stables may sell some cold weather gear still. It's what we were using during our scope work for the tower. Locals usually have their own equipment, most of them work in this kind of place for a living'.

With that Kark would rush through the ankle deep snow as he leads the party down the wide streets of the village towards the outskirts of the large snow covered mounds. Now that the morning was drawing on they would begin to see a few Drall here and there making their ways down the streets. They were all covered in large thick fur coats, almost entirely hiding them from view underneath the layers. The travellers would get some looks and stares from the locals, but no words were passed by them.

After a couple minutes of walking they would see a different structure to the others. This was a large thatched structure that was little more than a roof and wooden poles to hold it up under the weight of the snow. The floor was covered in straw, and atop of it were several large fierce looking birds, easily standing taller than any of the jedi there. There are majestic looking creatures with grey feathers flecked with black, brown and copper, and a bright red head. They have a fierce demeanour about them and have been roped to thick stakes sunk into the ground. Stood near by was a drall carrying a large bucket full of what could be assumed to be food.

"Good day sir. Fine avians you have there... Yes Kark the stables are not a bad option. We could find coats cheaper and hardier than their fashionable relatives."

Drez'n nods curtly at various passerbys. He admires the sun as its rays turn the white snow into a glistening expanse.

"They dont fall into my specialty category" She gives the Gand a coy smile. "Perhaps this is a key?" She pats the barrel of her rifle.

Jonas looks at the birds as well, "**** straight. Those be some fine birds!"

Arvel pauses his conversation with Akua and addresses Elias, "I generally view walking into an ambush as a bad idea. Even if we do a flyby, I suspect they have a ship too. Which might have more guns than ours. What's to stop us from hopping on your shuttle and heading for the Rim right now?"

Elias: if the Gand is a findsman and I'd give upwards of 80 percent odds that he is, then now that he's got our proverbial scent he'll be able to follow us to Rim deep core and back. Right now we have an advantage, they don't know that we know that they set an ambush for us, and I'm almost certain that it a personal scale ambush. One because that's what the vision told me and Two because bounty hunters can collect on a bounty, whether for dead or alive, if they've got a body to bring back. That doesn't happen if they blow up a ship with the target on it, so worst case scenario they try to force us down. If we confront them now from the ship when they're on the ground, we do so from a position of power. We may be able to resolve this with words or blow up their ship on the ground which would certainly slow them down while we make our escape.

Akua leaned her chin on her hands as she regarded the two.

Hmmmmm... this is why we set off the ambush!

The female beamed.

I know it sounds stupid, but if we act as if we do not know they are there and walk into their trap, they might be lulled into a false sense of security and thus, we can beat them.

And if it all goes south I can probably still get us out of there

If things go sideways, I'd prefer to be able to just blow up their ship and fly away. Bounty hunting is a business, if a target costs too much to bring in, most professionals will cut their losses and move on to an easier target. If they lose a ship then we just became highly unprofitable and they also don't a method of transportation to follow us to the Rim.

Arvel looks at Elias and says, "I didn't get a scan of your ship. Can you blast away the ship of a bounty hunter. Don't those guys pack some serious firepower?"

Almost anything sitting on the ground with shields down is hard to miss from proverbial point blank range. Besides taking out the engines, when it's not moving is pretty easy and that generally results in the explosive loss of the ship, and even destroying the cockpit without destroying the ship would get the message across.

In case you missed the message, I'm advocating that we now go take their ship hostage while they're still in the base waiting to ambush us. We then wait for them to come to us to talk things over and if we can't reach an understanding, we use our ship's guns to destroy or at least seriously damage and disable their ship when they're still outside. The message being that hunting us is unprofitable. All we have to do is cost them more in repairs than the bounty is worth and they should leave us alone in the future. Most bounty hunters are professionals, they're in it to make credits and extremely expensive revenge is just bad business for them.

Regarding the ship it's a first order military ship, and the personal ship of an ex inquisitor, so military grade weapons are the order of the day.

The drall would look up as the party approaches and set the bucket down on a stool with a clank, far enough away from the birds so they cannot feed themselves. 'Aye, that they are. Yeh looking to travel?' He is gruff like most of the villages in the village, made coarse by the harsh weather they live in.

Reesh would sigh slightly through his mask as he takes a step or two back. He leans back, straining his neck as he looks for an alternative way into the base. After a minute or two he spots what he's looking for. A couple of the panels on the roof of the structure had come loose, perhaps in a storm, or simply from lack of repair. This was a way in for the hunters way into the base.

Reesh would hold out his arm as he primes the grapnel launcher built into the bracer set in his armour. There is the sound of a shot as the launcher fires and the cables whips through the air. A clang a moment later confirms that the grapnel has connected with the roof. He would turn to face Arissa, holding out his other arm while he was still connected to the building. 'You coming up?'

"Do you want to be cleaning every latrine on the ship as well as the decks?" Korath warns. "If not, put that down now. We're not here for play. We have a job to do."
