“Do you now?” Korath laughs. “Then explain to me why you rushed in and escalated an already volatile situation instead of allowing me and my fellow Jedi to attempt to diffuse the situation peacefully? Why did you try to steal our respective lightsabers, particularly when you have no idea how to use one or how dangerous they can be? Why do you not listen to people who are trying to teach you and keep you safe? You say you want to learn the ways of the Force yet you completely disregard and disobey the very one you asked to teach you. Simply put, Avalon. You are reckless and you are selfish! If you want to learn the ways of the Force you must be patient, disciplined, and, above all, selfless .”

I'm not reckless, I'm an enthusiastic learner and that fight seemed like the perfect opportunity to learn how to use it and I do know how dangerous they can be AND I don't listen cause you mean boring

Akua brings the speeder bike to rest a short distance from the burning arc-170 as Elias' comlink crackels with excal'ur's message, seeing his brother but not excal'ur, Elias leaps off from the seat behind Akua and starts to run towards the fighter as he reaches out with the force to rip the canopy off the fighter.

Move to RIP canopy off of arc 170 : 4eF 2 Light Side, 3 Dark Side

“As I said,” Korath responds flatly. “Reckless. A Jedi does not crave excitement or adventure. He seeks peace. A Jedi does not crave power. He seeks wisdom and understanding. A Jedi does not crave self gratification. He seeks serenity within himself and with the universe. A Jedi does not seek conflict. He seeks harmony. A Jedi does not act rashly or selfishly. He does not act out of anger, fear, or aggression. He does not act out of greed. He acts when calm and at peace with himself and the Force; passively. He acts to defend others and keep the peace. He puts the needs of others before his own personal desires. To do otherwise is the path of the Dark Side.”

"And stay out!" yells Jonas as he hooks his lightsaber back on his belt. "Korath, you **** well better teach that boy some manners, or else he's going to get his head blown off."

Jonas looks at Avalon, "And you. You little stinkin' pile of poodoo. You are the saddest force-**** excuse for a Padawan I have ever seen. ****, I've seen younglings with more sense and discipline than you are. You need to start listening to Korath right now. Because I ain't nowhere near as patient. Now git somewhere where I don't have to see you for the next eight hours."

Jonas pauses, takes a deep breath and looks back at Korath. "Now that that is behind us, did you say something about a tour? I ain't gettin' any younger, dig?"

“Follow me,” Korath replies. “The Jedi Star is a modified CEC YZ-900. It has extensive droid automation in order to allow me to basically operate the ship solo. I have also made several specific modifications to turn her into a fully functioning mobile Jedi training facility capable of supporting up to twenty two students and teachers.”

Leading Jonas down the hallway, he points out the escape pods on either end of the “wings” where the passenger cabins are located. “The escape pods,” he says, “hold twelve passengers each. You will also note the locations of the port and starboard twin laser cannons.”

Korath then leads him forward, pointing out the two crew cabins. “Thes will be the primary quarters for students.” Then leading Jonas up to the upper deck, he first takes him to the cockpit before back tracking and showing him the forward cargo holds, as well as the access ladder for the dorsal and ventral twin heavy laser cannon turrets.

As they pass the holds, he opens the sliding double doors to the lounge. “As you gather, there is a dejarek table and computer access, and through the door too your left is the galley.” Passing through another set of double doors they enter another passage.

“To our left,” Korath says as he opens the door. “Is the work shop.” As Jonas enters the workshop he recognizes a lot of the same tools and equipment that he once used on the training ship Crucible, including work tables, a lathe, 3D fabricators, traditional metal working equipment, even a gas forge. “The workshop is where the students will build their lightsabers, when they’re ready.”

Turning around, Korath leads Jonas to the other end of the short hallway. Opening the door, it reveals a decent sized library. Along the walls are rows and columns of bookshelves filled with tomes and data pads, as well as a pair of computer workstations. There is a small table and bench in the far corner, there perfect spot for reading. Dominating the room, however, is a long rectangular table surrounded by chairs. In the center of the table is a holo projector.

“This is the library and briefing room,” Korath says. “The books and data files contain all of the Jedi lore I have been able to recover or copy from Master Skywalker during my time with him. A lot was lost or destroyed by the Empire following the Jedi Purge. This is also where we will hold pre-mission briefings and more ‘academic’ classes. We can also eat more comfortably here, or in the lounge.” Opening a cabinet, Korath pulls out a 2”x2”x2” amber colored cube. “This Holocron was created by my master before his death,” he says. “The knowledge it contains on Force powers, Lightsaber construction, and ancient Jedi history, which should be invaluable.”

Leading Jonas out of the library, Korath leads him to a pair of double doors directly across from the main entrance to this passageway. Opening the doors reveals a large 6x7 meter room with white walls framed with Greenwood. Hanging on the walls on either side are racks upon racks of lightsabers of various designs. Tatame mats laid out on the floor take up the majority floor with hardwood flooring surrounding along the walls. Along the back wall is a raised Dias bookended by a pair of tall cabinets. Hanging on the back wall is a pair of identical banners. On each, the symbol of the Jedi Order appears above columns of text written in ancient Jedi glyphs. Jonas should recognize the words. They appear to be an archaic version of the Jedi Code.

They read:

Emotion, yet Peace.

Ignorance, yet Knowledge.

Passion, yet Serenity.

Chaos, yet Harmony.

Death, yet the Force.

“The dojo here is where we’ll be teaching lightsaber training, as well as hand to hand combat and practical Force training,” Korath says. “The students will be able to practice with the training sabers on the racks. In the cabinets, you’ll find a number of training remotes as well as candle stands for lightsaber Cadences. It’s also a good place for meditation.”

The cockpit of the ARC fighter is torn from its hinges and fires into the air before landing on the scorched grass with a bang. The rest of the fighter is rapidly engulfed in the flames of the crash within the space of a few minutes. The smoke from the craft rises high into the air, black and thick. This must look like a beacon to every first order soldier and mandalorian looking for them.

Above Drall the Jedi Star exits hyperspace. The ship is suspended in the void high above the icecaps of the planet, shining bright below the vessel like diamonds. Jonas would recognise the huge glaciers from his vision. This was the place they were meant to be.

'Alright, this ball has a few cities, but the closest, I guess you could call it a port? Anyway, it's to the south of the ice. Some village full of tiny furry people. Should be fun' Hacker would say sarcastically as he trundles into the cockpit of the vessel. 'Why we'd want to be here I don't know. I doubt this place even has a holonet. What are we even doing here?'

"Apparently, Jonas says there might be Jedi there," Korath responds. Korath activates the ship's intercoms. "Jonas, Avalon, please meet me in the library in five minutes."

Excuse me! It was to be examined not waved around! This is a family establishment.

He nods at the tavern keeper, acknowledging his objection.

(What roll @Rabobankrider would i need to make to catch the blade in mid air with barehands, or to parry it away with my walking stick?)

Jonas ponders to himself. An entire floating Jedi academy with no students. Well, except for the klepto. Who is this Korath anyway? And what's going on in his head?

But Drall is Drall, so Jonas pushes in the intercom button, and says "Roger that, man." Then he packs up his limited possessions (with his lightsaber in his hand and not on his belt) and heads out to the library.

Avalon arrives about 20 minutes after everyone else rubbing his eyes

“Thanks for coming,” Korath says sardonically, looking at Avalon. “We’ve just entered orbit of Drall, and need to go over recent events and our mission here. Jonas, you seem to be a “little confused over what has happened in the galaxy over the past fifty odd years or so. I’d like to catch you up on things. You also made mention of other Jedi who may be hiding out on other worlds, including Drall.”

Korath types an entry into the terminal behind him, which brings up a file onto a screen in front of Jonas. “This is a complete record of the events following the Clone Wars, at least as is known by New Republic historians, and from what I learned from Master Skywalker, when I talked to him. The short version is that Chancellor Palpatine was a Sith Lord and played the old Jedi Order for fools. The Clone Wars was a manufactured war specifically intended to weaken the Jedi and Republic. He then turned one of the Order’s most promising members, accused Jedi of treason, had the clones wipe them out, and declared himself Emperor before plunging the galaxy into a reign of Darkness which would continue for twenty three years. His new apprentice, Darth Vader and his Inquisitors hunted the remaining Jedi to the brink of extinction. However, there were survivors, and he couldn’t extinguish the light of hope completely. At the battle of Yavin, the Rebel Alliance won a major victory against the Empire, when after they had used stolen plans provided them by Princess Leia Organa, which revealed a fatal flaw in the Empire’s “ultimate weapon”, Luke Skywalker fired the one in a million shot which destroyed the first Death Star, but not before the super weapon had destroyed the planet Alderaan. After four long years, at the Battle of Endor, the Alliance fought their most decisive battle of the war. The Rebellion has managed to discover that the Empire was building a second Death Star, and that Emperor Palpatine would be overseeing the final phases of construction. While ground forces fought to destroy a shield generator protecting the incomplete battle station, and the Rebel fleet faced off against a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers, Luke Skywalker, the “last Jedi”, faced the Emperor and Darth Vader on the Death Star itself. From what Master Skywalker told us, Vader turned on the Emperor, and destroyed him at the cost of his own life in order to save his son, Luke, and thus returning to the Light. The Rebels succeeded in destroying the second Death Star, and eventually defeated the Empire, establishing the New Republic. Luke eventually established a Jedi training center of his own, but, six years ago, one of his students betrayed him and destroyed it all. Luke went into hiding after that and hasn’t been seen since. It’s believed that he went looking for the very first Jedi Temple. More recently, a group calling itself the First Order has arisen and plunged the galaxy into another war. I was born a few years before the Battle of Yavin, and grew up during the time of the Rebellion and after. My parents were survivors of Order 66, the command which wiped out the Jedi. I was raised by Master Oruk Ryu Ken after my parents died. My master was killed by an Imperial Inquisitor by the name of Mathis Karr when I was fifteen and his Holocron was stolen. Eventually, I was able to recover it following a battle with one of Karr’s Henchmen.”

Bringing up another file, “This is a dossier I managed to recover from a First Order outpost on Kamino, under the command of a Dark Jedi, just before its destruction. I believe this Dark Sider was working for Mathis Karr, who, it appears, has joined the First Order. Among other things, it contains a list of surviving Jedi and other potential Force users. We need to find them before Karr’s forces do, and do what we can to rebuild the Jedi Order. That is our mission. Jonas, can you provide any information on who or what we may find here?”

Aww that ain't good...

Akua muttered as she ran after Elias, worried for everyone in the fighter.

Is everyone alright?

Whew... that was close...

Tino smiled as he stood up, waving at the Jawa.

Thanks for your help!

“OK,” Korath replies, bringing up a hologram of the planet below. “We’re currently in orbit here,” he says, pointing to a glowing dot orbiting the hologram. “You said that you knew of a potential location here on this planet. Can you point it out to us and provide some more information on it?”

Jonas closes his eyes and says "Beneath one of the ice caps. There are several people there. Shouts. A dead Jedi." Jonas pauses, " Three others are there. We should proceed with caution."

“Can you point out where?” Korath asks pointing on The hologram of the planet.

Jonas shakes his head, "No. The vision wasn't clear enough. You got high power scanners on this thing? Whoever else is gonna meet us must've had a ship, right?"

“Not necessarily,” Korath replies. “It’s quite possible they’ve been here for quite some time, particularly this Drez’n individual.”

"Hacker mentioned a port by the south polar ice cap," Korath adds. "That might be a good place to start. Get your gear ready. Briefing adjourned." With that, Korath stands up and heads to the cockpit, takes his seat in the pilot's chair, and begins the descent towards the port.

"This is the Jedi Star ," He says, contacting the port's traffic control. "Requesting landing clearance."

It wasn't hard to convince the youngest member of the ships crew that she managed to find that he should kill the rest. He was easily convinced they were going to kill him off anyway. They probably were going to throw him under the bus at the first chance anyway. And he was easily dispatched after he had shot them all. The look on his face as he realised she'd shot him after was priceless. He actually said he loved her as he fell. HA. Idiot.

She wasn't to worried about the bodies being found. Scum were double crossing each other all the time in this wretched galaxy. No one would care enough to investigate more than that. Especially not here. On this cesspool of a planet Zygerria.

She hated this place. The entire planet was a slavers wet dream. Being a former slave herself it brought back memories she would rather not bring up. The screams of the slavers dying in the revolt she helped were a nice thing to remember however. She tried to focus on that.

What was she supposed to be doing here? Ugh, she needed a drink.

Relieved that Chemdat hasn't been captured, Elias walks over to the specific bush Excal'ur and Chemdat were hiding behind, Elias calls out "Hey little brother, are you still more or less in one piece after that crash? Excal'ur and Teeto, are you back there too?"

Wearily excal'ur rises before relaxing as he realises that the other figure is akua chemdat is fine, but teetoe is missing

The Jedi Star descends slowly through the cloudy atmosphere of the planet. They could see the sweeping glaciers and ice caps loom up on them as they approached the tall green-brown forests that hid the settlement they were heading to. As the ship pierced the mists that coated the woods they saw a sparse clearing where the trees petered out and gave way to rugged grassland. Set at the end of the woods was a series of grassy bumps, that on closer inspection turned out to be the village itself. To the offworlders such structures may look odd, but the were definitely what the crew were looking for.

There was a path of open ground that seemed to have been set up as a single landing pad to accommodate shuttles coming and going. It was quite literally the only place to land without risking the wilderness.

From inside the inn the others can hear the roar of an engine from the approaching ship, much loader than the shuttle that had arrived from Corouscant. Kark would glance up and then at the door. 'What do you reckon that was? I don't remember any other ships being expected today'.

On Dantooine, as expected, the smoke from the crash had attracted the attention of the enemy. On the horizon through the smoke, Chemdat and Elias would spot a squadron of six speeders hurtling in their direction. No doubt they had the same goals at the Mandalorian's from before. Fortunately they had been spotted early, giving them a little time to respond.

Under the burning sun of Zygeria, Arrisa would find herself quickly caught up by the thronging crowd that trampled the streets of the capital. It was hot, sticky and noisy, the same as every day in the city of slaves. Yet today was different somehow. Wherever the sith looked, she saw no slaves, not one.

'Ah Zygeria. The backbone of any great empire'. As she is pulled through the crowd to her left a familiar figure would appear. It was the sith from Korriban, the king she had made her deal with. He looked different though, paler, almost invisible. No one else seemed to see him though, only her. 'Slavery has fuelled sith conquest for thousands of years. And this rancid rock has been the jewel of that crown'. The sith would look at her with a wicked smile. 'You of course know the benefits of slavery, even if you don't appreciate them. The weak feed the strong, and weak will grow strong themselves, or be devoured'. Looking back out across the crowd he would let out a relieved sigh. 'Ah it has been so long since I left my tomb. Now, time for business. You will find no students here, but followers, perhaps'. This planet attracts hunters and slavers of all kind. Having a hunting dog will do you well'. With that the sith disappears as quickly as he had arrived. Perhaps it was something to do with the holocron she had been given? There was much to still learn from it apparently.

The crowd seemed to be going in one direction, heading towards a towering building in the distance. It was unmistakable as a palace of some kind, even to those that had never been here. There must be hundreds, thousands even gathered in front of the palace.

As they arrive, a gigantic holoscreen lights up revealing a female Zygerian dressed in spectacular royal garb. 'Welcome guests to my planet' she would say in a regal voice, her words echoing out over the crowd. 'You have gathered here from far wide, hunters and trackers, just to hear me speak. As you will all know, the great hunt will be upon us soon, and I, the most high queen of Zygeria, will be acting as a patron for one hunter'. There is a low ripple of sound from the crowd as words were passed between those gathered.

'The rules of my hunt are simple. Bring me a force user! Do that and you will have my patronage'. With that the holoscreen shuts off. The crowd goes into an uproar as the message ends. To many the challenge was impossible, were there even any force users left in the galaxy?

Some of the hunters would already be on the move, dashing for ships to prepare for their search. There was even a few scuffles between some groups hungry for victory.

Reesh wasn't one of them though, he would sigh as he looks back down at the other gand he was with. He shouldn't even be here, he had been comfortable on Gand, but the others had wanted to come to hear the queen speak. He had travelled here with another twelve findsman, all younger than himself, all wanting to earn their names. Reesh was unsure what to make of all this though. Did he really want to hunt another force user for these people?

The group of the findsmen would move off of the streets, heading towards one of the many bars that lined the city streets. Reesh new that this hunt would not be a fast one, it would take a lot of time and effort to find a force user.
