Korath sits down at the table opposite Jonas, preferably with his back to the wall, so that he can keep an eye out on things.
Jedi Star IC thread
The gand look up from there table in unison as the stranger approaches. All looked almost identical, and with the combination of exoskeletons and ammonia breathers made it almost impossible to read facial expressions with this species. For those not used to dealing with Gand with strange species can be a little unsettling.
All carried an assortment of weapons, but Reesh was the only one who had opted for the classic looking slugthrower. He would glance at the others for a moment before looking back at Arissa. He was quite taken aback by the greeting, most people leave his kind well enough alone. 'Erm, well enough Reesh supposes. Reesh is trained in many different weapons. Why do you ask?'
On Drall, Kark would just about manage to stifle a shriek as he is grabbed. 'I didn't do anything! I just wanted to investigate some of the planets history, there's so much stuff to see here! Please let me go!'
Meanwhile the bartender would give Dez'n a strange look before disappearing into the back through a door set behind the bar. He would return a few seconds later and return to his stool without a word.
After a few minutes a second drall would emerge through the door with a tray stacked with three plates and two metal cups. They would be delivered with a bit of a clatter to Drezn's table. 'We don't do a special, this isn't one of them gastro type places in the cities'. With that the drall would straighten up and make his way back towards the kitchens.

As Avalon dips around the back of the mound that housed the inn he founds a slightly rusty metallic door dug into the grass and dirt. It was littered with trash and food waste that squelched a bit under foot. It seemed that proper waste disposal was not an important part of the establishments business plan.
The door hisses open and the young boy is hit by a waft of hot air carrying the smell of food with it. The kitchen is fairly quiet apart from the occasional clatter as a pair of drall in aprons work on the low lying surfaces. Avalon spots a plate of food set on one of the surfaces near by that would catch his attention.
Unfortunately, as he sneaks into the kitchen he bumps into one of the many cluttered tables that filled the cramped room. For a moment it seems like no one noticed, but that was before the large pot atop the table toppled over. It must have been put too close to the edge of the surface because it comes crashing down with a loud clatter as its contents is flung all over the floor, as well as coating the boys feet. It looks like some kind of greenish-grey soup, but is cold, and definitely not a pleasant thing to have thrown over your feet.
One of the drall would look across at the surface and let out a shout of annoyance.
'Agh! Come on! I told you to put it in the middle!'
'It's not my fault, I didn't do anything!'
'Yeah, like what I told you! Just, just get it cleaned up already'.
With a sight the drall would push himself away from his work and begin to stomp across to he spill, mop in hand. If Avalon doesn't do anything in a few seconds he's going to be caught.

“No, you don’t,” Korath replies.
Getting up, Korath closes his eyes briefly for a few moments and focuseson the location of his wayward apprentice. After opening them again, he walks up to the bar, across from the kitchen door and when the door opens again, calls Avalon loudly. “I say again, Avalon,” he bellows through the open door. “If you don’t want to end up scrubbing the Jedi Star from top to bottom with a toothbrush, you’ll get out here right now, sit down, and behave yourself!! Your breakfast is getting cold!”

She puts her hand out.
"I'm Vaylz"

Edited by StormbourneAs Korath crosses by the bar to the kitchen he would feel an iron grip on his arm, and would be spun around to face the bartender. The squat Drall does not look pleased to see him, in fact he is baring his sharpened teeth at the human. 'Right, you, out! You think you can come into my inn shouting shouting the place down?' With that he would shove him roughly away fromt he bar in the direction of the inns front door. 'Go on! shove it!'
The bartender would lean across the bar after he had done his job there and jab a finger at the other new comers. 'You with him? If so you can go stand in the cold and all! It's too early to be dealing with your nonsense'. A few of the other locals of the village glared at the newcomers, it seemed that making all their noise had not gone unnoticed by the trappers.
Reesh would chuckle; or at least his species equivalent of a chuckle, at the suggestion made by Vaylz. 'Why would Reesh team up with a stranger when Reesh is working with a team of elite findsmen?' This may be an exaggeration of the rookie Gand talents, but he wasn't one to put down his own fellows. However his tone didn't rule out the suggestion outright, and he would shake her hand for a moment before letting go.
"Because you need another experienced hunter with you to take down a Force user. And these guys ain't enough by themselves and you know it." Arissa states bluntly to the Gand.

"My friend," Korath says with a slight wave of his hand, "I'm terribly sorry for the disturbance. My wayward student is a "bit of a handful", and has apparently gotten himself lost and wandered into your kitchen, and has no comlink. (hands the bartender 200 credits) This is for the trouble, and should more than cover the cost of the bill for our meals, and any "damages". I would be most appreciative if you could have someone find him and escort him out here, so we can finish our meals and be on our way. It's been a long journey.

Relax the first order is methodical, but also relaxed and self assured that what they are doing is right. So act like a Jedi just restrain from the force and change afew words. Excal'ur would quietly say in responce
A small lothmouse runs circles around a beast made for catching monsters...
He shakes his head.
"They have a young man, who its used to thievery and snatching food wherever he can get it. A poor soul reduced to an animal's survival skills. It is their hope to impart on him a sense of civility and reason. However it its a work in progress... Apparently!
He shoots a glare at the newcomers.
While not exactly the best introduction... Please do not judge them harshly as they are attempting," he pauses holding eye contact with Koroth, " to perform a charitable service to this post soul. However patience is not everlasting, and I'm sure you'd appreciate a sense of urgency in recovering this trouble maker who has invaded your peaceful and must i say, delightful and delicious kitchen. Would i be correct in assuming?"
At this point he has made his way and is to the side of both the drall and the older jedi.
Shooting a look behind him.
"One might know a fallen leaf by watching it, or by its ripples as ot hits the water of the stream below. Or we know it by the bud before its grown.
Many ripples you've made in your journey, many ripples till you've washed up on my shores sir knight."
(I'd like a negotiation check no force crap, just a regular check.)
Riding back on the 'recovered' speeder bikes the four force sensitives would quickly see the village begin to appear in real detail, if it can still be called a village that is. In reality it is more of a ruin than anything else, it is as if the entire sky has been set aflame. The squat pale buildings have been reduced to rubble, and here and there the sound of an explosion can be heard as another is brought to the ground.
As they reach the outskirts of the carnage another scout trooper waves for them to halt, pointing for them to park up their speeders along with the others that had been abandoned outside of the buildings. He would make no comment about the missing troops or where they were coming from. Perhaps he did not realise, or simply did not care. Regardless when his job there was done he would be quick enough to turn on his heel and head back into the village.
As the jedi venture into the village, it was a sight unlike anything they had seen. Even those that had served in the clone wars had never seen such brutality, such viscous slaughter. Civilians littered the streets like cobbles, and stormtroopers dressed in white would wade through the bodies while they go about their business. Occasionally the crackle of flames would be broken with the sound of a single blaster shot, no survivors were to be found. The smell of death was overwhelming, but not one of the First Order troops seemed at all fazed. In fact a few here and there seemed the be enjoying the bedlam. The jedi would hear snatches of conversations, jokes, kills counts and the likes.
Still, they even if they wanted they would struggle to deal with so many soldiers, especially with the dark presence Elias had forseen. This was not the place to make a stand. It doesn't take long to find the circular landing pad of the village. It was an elevated platform, and atop of it was a single First Order shuttle. At the steps was a small squad of stormtroopers stood behind a man covered in black robes.
At the robed figures feet was a villager, on his knees and badly bloodied. 'Please, please! I don't know where he is, I've never even heard of him! Please let me go' the man would sob as he looks up at his captor. Silence hangs in the air for a moment before a single word is spoken.
'No'. With that the hooded figure raises his hand, and a crimson blade springs forwards from the silvered handle he holds. With a swift movement it is brought down on the poor civilian as he holds up one hand in futile defence. As the blade slices him in two, the corpse crumples to one side, nothing more but a lifeless shell now.
The murder raises his head, and the jedi can see a pale, gaunt looking man beneath the robes. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before exhaling.
As he does Chemdat and Akua before feel something freezing on the back of their neck, as a hand of the grave had taken hold of them both. In that moment both knew that this lightsaber wielder was a true threat, he had been able to sense them.
The mans eyes flick open, and turn to look right at the party impersonating his men, but luck or the force in on their side. They had been joined by a number of stormtroopers who were moving through the opening that surrounded the ship. He may have sensed them, but he did not know which of his men were the impostors.
'I know you are here' he would hiss, loud enough for the jedi to hear. 'If you show yourselves, perhaps I will let a few of the survivors die quickly!'.
On Zygeria there the gand turn to one another, and there is a hale of chittering and clicking as they talk amongst themselves. After a minute of two all but Reesh stand to leave, all going in different directions. 'The plan was to always work alone to find a force user. The galaxy is a big place' Reesh would admit, gesturing for the newcomer to sit.
'So, Reesh suspects that Reesh knows why you want a gand to work with. Gand are, somewhat known as good trackers. But what does Reesh get from you that Reesh cannot get from someone else?' he would ask, his tone genuinely inquisitive.
As Werit is left alone in the hanger on Tatooine, his comlink begins to chirp, he has an incoming message, and judging by the code, it is from his employers in the black sun. 'Werrit, Werrit can you hear me?' a woman's voice would half shout through the com. 'Where are you?' He would recognise the voice of Loosa, a falleen who had been made his contact on the planet. A pleasant enough individual, if lacking in humour.
The drall barkeeper would scowl at Korath for a while longer before snatching at the credits and shoving them into the pouch of his apron. As he does the few patrons of the inn would go back to their business.
'Alright' the bartender would grumble. 'Go grab your kid, eat your grub and get out before it causes any more trouble'.

“Thank you,” Korath replies, bowing respectfully. “It seems he’s already getting into mischief.” With that, Korath enters the kitchen and intercepts his young ward.
“Not so fast there, Avalon.” Korath scolds, towering over Avalon between the boy and his “escape route,” blocking his path, Korath’s arms folded over his chest. “Put that back and start walking. Your breakfast is out on the table in the dining room.” He continues while pointing first at whatever Avalon swiped then back towards the eating area.
Edited by Tramp GraphicsElias didn't react to the words Matthis Karr spoke and he made sure that Chemdat, excal'ur and Akua saw him not react, as he lead them closer to the shuttle. He knew Karr hadn't sensed him, but from karr's use of the plural "yourselves" he had sensed at least two of the others, Chemdat was naturally strong willed but didn't yet have the discipline to keep his feelings locked down so Karr had probably sensed chemdat, which meant Karr would probably react to Chemdat when they got close, if that happened it help for him to be a few step ahead and past Karr so Elias could flank Karr from behind if it came to that. Any advantage to be had was worth having when dealing with Karr. Elias knew Korath was always overly impressed with his own ability with a saber and therefore chronically underrated others, but he had warned Elias that Karr was more formidable than himself, and for Korath to admit that meant Karr had to be truly impressive and not to be trifled with. Elias has stowed his own saber in a pocket of the scout troopers pack that he wore where it was hidden from view but easily accessible. Other options... he could telekinetically puppet a trooper that was slightly farther away to make it look like the trooper was using the force to throw a large rock at karr, to momentarily lure Karr away from the shuttle.... Elias mentally ticked off a half a dozen different tactical options as they approached the landing pad. He was a few steps ahead of the other disguised jedi so it would appeared as if he was with the group of troopers immediately ahead of him instead. And if Elias absolutely had to, he was prepared to delay Karr while the others escaped. Whatever happened was going to happen in the next few minutes. The time for preparing was over, now was the time to act.
Edited by EliasWindriderThis day just keeps getting better and better... yay me...
Akua grumbled under her breath as she closed her eyes and relaxed, playing the act of a stormtrooper who did not care. Once she opened her eyes again, she fastened her gaze under her helmet on Elias, making sure he was always in her view, since she knew that Excla'ur was beside her.
Yeah, I'm here Loosa. Sorry, had abit of... trouble...
Tino replied his comlink as he holstered his blaster.
Some weequay thugs just tried to rob us. But I managed to drive them off.
He smiled as he replied, partly to sound confident to impress the female and partly to prevent her from finding out about the jawa who had helped him who had mysteriously disappeared.
