" Auld stuff? What kindeh auld stuff? Awwwww wait. Hod own"

Xanthe produces her sword brandishing it right in the face of the nervous verpine.

"This is mah auld sword! That's how I'm here fluffy" she proclaims to the dralls question. "Tae find auld interesting stuff! And new interesting stuff! Or just any interesting stuff! Or sowt....."

"We need to get out of here," Korath says to Jonas, picking up Avalon in a "Fireman's carry". "Hopefully our sub is still there. Follow me."

Korath struggles to lift Alavon, stumbling as he tries to run. Stopping, he closes his eyes and focuses on the Force, allowing it to strengthen his muscles and endurance.

Ah the days of old when fools were fools and jedi apprentices they we're not!

Well that is an old sword... Huh...

He looks it over (lore check?)

Where did you find this?

Why are you two interested in "old" stuff?

"No just auld stuff fluffy, INTERESTING auld stuff! And I foond it in a box, ken?"

I see...

Oh my... Well...

Tell me more about the box and all that's interesting about the sword...

Jonas shouts at Korath, "Now it seems there's some bad poodoo comin' brother, but we'll be needin' to have some words once we're all safe. You dig me?"

"Agreed," Korath grunted. "But for now, less talking, more running."

Jonas responds, "**** straight, brother. Now point me in the right direction. I'm blind at present."

"Grab on to my robe, hold on, and try to keep up."

Kark would nearly fall of his stool as the blade is produced. He would grab the edge of the table to steady himself. He would audibly gulp as his eyes lock on the weapon. He was clearly very uncomfortable to be this close to a lethal item such as this. 'Yes, well, yes. That's not the kind of thing I was looking for. I mean, it's old and stuff, but I've been looking for things a little less, erm, stabby? You know, something a little less death related'.

Deep in the depths of the rapidly crumbling temple of Manaan, the three force users would sprint through the dark winding corridors that had once housed the slumbering jedi. For years this place had been the closest thing to a home that he had. Now it was falling apart around him, trying to bury him and the others in the murky depths. All the relics, the secrets that he and his droid had brought with them, it was going to be lost, maybe forever.

Before too long great lumps of the ceiling are falling about their head, smashing into the floor and shattering on the impact. Soon though they emerged in the cavern, and by the will of the force the submersible was still there. Chunks of rock were crashing into the water, flinging spouts of spray high into the air. The whole place was crumbling. The jedi had to leave now if they wanted to live, even the force cannot protect them from the sheer amount of water that was about to come crashing down on them.

Setting Avalon in the back seat, Korath climbs into the pilot’s seat and starts up the engines. Closing his eyes and focusing on the Force, he does a quick scan for Ro Ka, but is unable to pick up anything.

”Let’s hope she found her own transportation,” he mused.

"Save it until we're out of danger and back at my ship," Korath says. Pulling out his comlink, "Ro Ka! Where are you? We need to get out of here!"

“We don’t know what’s causing this collapse,” Korath says, “It’s quite probable that we’re under attack. If that’s the case, I’ll need to concentrate on getting us to the surface alive.”

Gunning the engines, Korath floors it, pushing the sub to top speed in an instant, dodging debris left and right before dashing through the exit and into open water, then making a B-line for the surface.

"No just stabby, bug mate. Slashy tae, see?!"

Xanthe makes a cutting motion.

"An' the box fluffy? Eh, it was wudden, and square. Naw, er rectangular, aye. An' the sword is auld........ An' pointy? I deh really ken much boot it. No a load o' auld-stuff-kening-folk been in mah life."

The submersible fires through the inky water of Manaan at top speed, heading back up to the surface. As they go the water changes from the crushing black to shades of blue and green. If not for the violent actions before it would be a really beautiful scene. The journey is quiet except for a few warning creaks as Korath throttles the engine.

As they go, Jonas begins to see shapes and colours ever so slowly return. He can see the pair that he had been rescued by, the interior of the craft and the stunning seascape that surrounds him. By the time the group reach the surface, his eyesight is almost fully recovered. There was something to be said for Jedi recovery rates from such matter.

Avalon is less fortunate unfortunately. He has taken a nasty blow to the skull as well as several gunshot wounds. He needs medical attention before things get worse. With the illusion formed by Jonas having dropped, he would be able to see Jonas as the young boy that he was.

As they reach the surface after several long minutes of travel, they would burst open into the open air. The sun was still high in the sky, and the platform that they had left from was a little to the port side. They could see the Jedi Star still on its landing pad, and the Selkath who had rented them the vessel. He had found a folding seat from somewhere, and was sprawled out in it. When they return he would glance across at them. 'You swapped your pal for a new one? Where'd you find him?'

On Drall, Kark would glances around nervously as he hunches over the table that the group was gathered around. 'Please put that away, you'll get us in trouble' he would his nervously. As he does a few of the patrons who had walked in were watching them, specifically the stranger waving the sword around.

“In the Temple,” Korath responds after pulling up to the dock and opening the canopy. “Have any other submersibles returned? We had some ‘trouble’, down there. Also, are there any current reports of attacks or seismic activity?”

Jonas says to Korath, "Nice driving, slim. Name's Shaaf by the way, Jonas Shaaf. Tell me, brother, what's your name and how in blazes did you find me?"

“Korath Lorren, itinerant Jedi”, Korath says. “The young fool in the back seat there,” pointing back to Avalon with his thumb, “is my ‘wannabe’ apprentice. Unfortunately he has a bad habit of not listening, and, instead, rushing in headlong into trouble and picking fights with people he shouldn’t.”

Korath turns back to the proprietor. “Sir,” he continues with some urgency as he climbs out of the sub and picks Avalon up. “We really need a status update. Have there been any attacks or quakes in the area?”

'Temple? Didn't know there was something like that down there. Figured scavs had stripped the floor of anything of value years ago' the Selkath would drawl. He would force himself out of his chair with a grunt, and would move to stoop over the submersible. 'Well, doesn't look damaged, 'ere! Your little friend don't look good to me! What'd you do to him?' The Selkath would look up at Korath as he asks his questions. 'Seismic what? Attacks? How would I know that? Do I look like a reporter to you?' he would snap. 'Get your kid out of here and get lost before I call the law on you'. The injured child seems to have shaken the alien. He doesn't seem to want to have anything more to do with the group.

Korath carries Avalon to the star port while pulling out his comlink. “Hacker,” he says, begin a full preflight check. You know the drill. Make sure there are no “surprises” attached to the hull and everything. Have Auto begin engine ignition procedures as well. We’re leaving.”

Putting the comlink away, he opens the doors and leads Jonas into the landing pad wher the Jedi Star is waiting.
