Again i have sense so it should be two red for the first two combat check against me per round

Elias wraps himself in force to cloud the minds of anyone who might glance in his direction (2 ranks of sleight of mind), he drops down into the alley sticking to the shadows, leaping large distances in a low arc when the coast is clear to confuse the mandalorians tracking them. He sets a stealthy example for Akua to follow.

@player3333902 Elias passes Akua 4 boost dice on her stealth check.

He sees the dangling man.

You bloody fool !

Its not doom... Its just a, mundane emergenc y. Your losing your wits to age old fart!

He makes his way over to him. It'll take much too long to climb the rickety stairs to grab him before he has a chance to fall.

So here's to hoping i don't give him a heart attack...

Don't worry!

He whips out his saber, a twist of the wrist as he flings it causes it to spin. The precise throw cleanly cleaving the metal doing minimal damage to the rest of the structure (I'll spend adv so i don't cause collateral damage).

I've got you!

Drez'n awaits underneath arms outstretched.

Edited by TheShard

The saber continues to arc high in the air. The dawn breaking, throwing light obscuring the saber at its peak. It escapes the sun beam and begins to descend. The hiss of cut of air is complemented by the early stirrings of avian creatures flapping and stretching wings in preparation of a new day.

"WHOA, MATE! WHAT'S THAT THINGIE?! IT'S NO PLASMA BASED IS IT? AWW WOT, I CANNY EVEN!

A human female had appeared at the Dralls side and was pestering him with questions.

" Oi, 'r ya trynna catch that bug dude? What's 'e deh'in up there onnywye? Oi, bug mate what ya deh'in up hangin off there? Is 'e gonna be alright? Do ya think it'd hurt fawin aw that wye? Can I have a lend 'o that plasma hing after?"

He turns, surprised at seeing a human, than catches the falling Verpine. He sets the creature on his feet just as the saber completes it cycle back to his outstretched hand.

Excuse me?

He says to the human before turning back to the Verpine.

Are you ok there? How did you end up there dangling like fall's leaves before they drop?

The corridor of the tomb in Korriban was eerily quiet after the quick and violent combat. For a moment there was no change, until a faint light begun to glow at the end of the corridor. After a few minutes walk, the light would grow bigger and brighter until Arissa eventually entered the next room. The corridor opened into a large circular room with a great dome roof up above. The ceiling was made of surprisingly ornate and beautiful stained glass. It cast the room in shades of red, gold and purple. The glass made a detailed two-dimensional image of a hooded figure lifting what looked like a king out of their throne using the force. The king seemed to be one of the ancient Sith species.

'Through power I gain victory!' The voice would boom through the room from all directions, and could be recognised as the voice from the beginning of this trial. As the voice finished there would be a low wooshing noise as a number of large braziers set alight around the room. There must be fifty or so of them, made of a polished black glass with a deep purple flame burning in the top. Opposite of Arissa was a raised platform with a set of steps leading up to it. Stood atop of the platform was a tall figured wrapping in robes that hid their face and body.

'The true power of the Sith was not their emotions, nor their blades. It was their ability to dominate the force, and dominate others through it. You have done better than those who came before you to better my pets, my master commanded that none will disturb him, and none will'. The figure slowly raises its hands, and as it does, arcs of lighting would begin to crackle between its fingertips, leaping between its hands.

There would be a cry of horror and dismay from Kark on Drall as the metal strut he was clinging to for dear life was sliced through, sending him hurtling towards the floor. All of a sudden though his fall was stopped short by the burly arms of the Drall beneath him. His screams of terror continued for a moment or two after the catch, but when he opened his eyes and saw he was safe, it would quickly tail off.

'You, you saved me! And almost killed me! I am very conflicted! Thankyou, but also, are you crazy?' The words would tumble over themselves as the young Verpine squirmed a bit before trying to jump to his feet. He would squint up at the impressive height of the fall before sighing heavily. 'I told them we need guard rails. Why are there never any guard rails?'

He would glance between the newcomers before speaking in a quieter, ever so slightly calmer tone. 'I was finishing the calibrations of the tower before the step broke. It must not have been riveted in place properly. I'm Kark by the way, part of the Verpine team that is; or was, building the early warning system in town'.

Slowly Arissa edged forward. The power rippled through the air and it was coming from this thing. She embraced the force hightening her senses. She had no intention of being hit by that power.

"So, to whom am I talking? I know who your master is, of course, but you. You I have no information on. Who were you? Why do you keep this futile loyalty to a long dead fool? "

"KARK!! Yur a bug mate! W. T. F. I've nae sen a bug walkin bout afore. Wot was ya deh'in hangin off there? Seems like no a gid idea. Deh ya ken this fluffy guy here? Oi fluffy whey're you?"

Drez'n Bercilak sighs, the chattering of the human clashing with the natural peace of the wilderness he just left.

Excuse me...

He says again, turning to the human.

You are? What buissness do have here?

Then back to the bugman.

Are you ok Kark? Well i can certainly help you finish if you havnt already. Are you ok?

...and back to the Verpine.

No one gets to see the plasma "thingie"... It's a serious tool.

He clips the saber to his belt and throws a flap of robe over to cover it.

So... Where's a good place to eat in town? He asks both of them.

"Eat? Deh ken, fluffy. Just got here. Jumped off a ship jus the noo. Then bug mate here started screaming. Oi, bug mate. Wot dose this place need whey a warning system? Is sowt gonnae happen? Ooooh is it gonna be sowt gid? Fun?" She hops closer to Kark. "Dangerous?"

Edited by SithArissa

'I, I am a shadow. Whatever, whoever I was, I served my master. When he passed, I stood guard, and stand guard still. I do so because that is what I am to do'. The answer was unclear at best. It seemed that this strange being had stood guard for so long he had almost forgotten his very being. If he served the resident of this tomb, how could he be alive? He wasn't like the charred being from before, he was more lucid, his movements more natural though she could not see the face beneath the hood.

'Now' he would say as he clears his throat. 'Be gone tomb robber'. With that the lighting that crackled beneath his fingers would surge forwards with a ferocious noise. Arissa is fast though, and the lighting crashes into the ground behind her, the floor splintering and cracking under the impact. The guard is not done though, and shifts his position to bring the burning arc around to crash into her. Though she is able to block the worst of the damage, bolts of lighting lash out and around, burning her arms and legs. Thoguh she is fairly unharmed by the damage, the potential damage of the attack and power of the guard is clear.

'Oh, I must have let my practice slip more than I thought' the guard would say with mild surprise in his voice. 'Usually tomb raiders are burnt to ash by that'.

On Drall Kark would look rather indignant at the newcomer. 'I am not a bug! Well, I am, but it's more complicated than that! That's like saying you're a monkey! Well not a monkey, but something like that'. He would trial off as he hears himself. 'I was just closing the hatch to the controls when the stupid railings gave way. I'm not going back up there now!'

At the question about the warning system Kark would look quite proud as he speaks. 'It's an early warning system for extreme weather see. This region gets all sorts of weather, and can be pretty dangerous to people if they get caught out in it. This tower can track local weather patterns with state of the art accuracy, giving locals plenty of time to plan ahead'.

At the question about food he would gesture to a large mound behind him. 'The inn is quite nice. I've been staying there while I finish my work. They'll be opening soon as well, gives the trappers a chance to drink before going to bed you know'.

Elias employed the skills he had learned as a boy evading and later hunting dangerous predators on Ossus to help Akua and himself evade the mandalorians and stormtroopers who were attempting to track them. The female mandalorian was a better tracker than most non Ysanna he had met over the years but her skills just didn't measure up to those of a force enhanced "primitive" hunter like Elias. At one point Elias and Akua doubled back on their tracks to confuse the mandalorian tracker, it would have been so easy to ambush them by dropping something large and heavy on them, like that conveniently located water tower, as they passed through the alley beneath but that was not the jedi way. Knowing that the mandalorians and stormtroopers were occupied on a wild yat'k chase, Elias and Akua were able proceed safety to Akua's speeder bike. Akua accelerated rapidly, with Elias sitting behind her clutching her waist.

"My brother is that way" Elias pointed

Ignoring Karks talk about food Xanth points to the building that housed the weather sensors.

"Ower there aye?"

Without waiting she walks hastily to a door on the side and blatantly opens it to walk inside.

Akua nods and turns the speeder in the direction Elias pointed at, accelerating after the turn.

After hitting the ground, Tino them aimed his pistol at one of the Weequay and shot him, seeing the man fall, he smiled.

Well, looks like you need to watch your "friend" there. Well I'm gonna go grab grub! Over there you say? Well... Be careful and so long!

He gives a nod and goes to leave the "trouble" where he found it. He had bigger fish to fry!

Now where's the tug on the line coming from?

Arissa danced around the lightning blast, or so she thought. The bolt still hit her, on her offhand shoulder sending a numbness down that arm that would make it difficult to swing with it for a few seconds. But she didn't have those seconds to wait. Vaulting up to the impetuous garbage that was her opponent, she channelled all the pain, frustration and anger this' test' was making her suffer. A single swipe with her Red blade cut the thing in two at the chest taking one arm with it and the other flying to the side.

"Shame, I was looking forward to a good story. Guess I'll just have to settle for whatever your Master wanted kept safe."

She took a moment to get the feeling back in her left arm, kicked the half of the corpse with a head off the stairway and walked up to where the prize of this venture lay.

Jonas reaches out with his feelings and attempts to befuddle the minds of the pirates even more. The man standing up to the Pirate Captain, whoever he may be, could use some help. The stress of the situation threatens to overwhelm Jonas, but the force is an island, a fortress in the storm . Jonas breathes deeply and does the little he can to defend the Pirate Captain's opponent... and hopes it will be enough.

As Korath is targetted by the Nikto captain with his viscous attacks, and Avalon took aim at the pirates surrounding him, the group that had been flung back by Korath made a dash back into the frey. They had no real intention in fighting at this moment, but wanted to watch their captain defeat a jedi. After all, they still vastly outnumbered these jedi, how could they lose?

On Dantooine, the pair of jedi atop their speeder blasted out of the capital outskirts and into the soft fields of grass that made up most of the planet. If they were to look behind they would see roadblocks being hastily erected with trucks and stormtroopers. Here and there they would be able to see the Mandalorian soldiers, marshalling the troops or jetting over the roofs of the city. Even as they left they could hear the shouts and noises of destruction as the soldiers ransacked the place. It seemed clear now that this was a renewed wave of the jedi purge. It would appear that the mysterious leader of this First Order wanted to finish what the Emperor had started.

If they were walking to the next town where their objectives lay, it would take a day or so. On the speeder, they were able to reach it before the sun set. It was lowering over the horizon though, casting the sky in a bloody red glow. As they made their journey to the town, they could see a great billow of black smoke in front of them, exactly where the town should be. Something bad had happened, or was happening.

'No no no!' Kark would cry in horror as he chases after the stranger. He would catch up when she opens the door to the mound linked to the tower. She would be faced with several rows of computers and consoles, all standing at the height of a Drall. She would have to duck slightly to enter the building, but Kark would try to hold her back with his flimsy arms. 'That's delicate equipment in there! If you mess around with it I'll have to start all over again!'

As this is going on, Drez'n would feel the strong presence in the force exceedingly close to where he stood. Then it begun to move away from him, towards the computer building. It couldn't be, could it? These two were the presences that he had felt? Was this why he was here?

As Arissa takes her first step towards leaving the room, she feels a sudden tightness in her chest which spreads to her limbs, holding her in place. She could still speak, but not move an inch forwards or backwards. Again she felt the strength of the guard she had just killed, but how? She had most certainly killed him, what could survive that attack?

'When did I become so weak? Before now I would have obliterated you. I fear that I have failed the master'. It was the voice of the guard once again, and it was followed by a set of footsteps that echoed across the room. They continued till a robed figure stood before her. It looked exactly the same as the one she had just killed, but that corpse still lay on the steps where she had cut it down. 'Who are you thief? Who are you to kill me? And what do you want with my masters tomb?'

'Brote!' the surviving Weequay would cry out as his partner is gunned down by the smuggler. 'I'll kill you! I'll kill you!' he would shout as he opens fire with his rifle. The Chiss would take a stinging shot to the leg, but would still be alive as the Weequay fires wildly. Unfortunatly for him, he forgets about the Jawa behind him as he is struck by grief from the lost of his friend.

Korath blocks several of the pirate's blows, before going on the offensive himself, making several quick strikes to his opponent's head and shoulders, stunning him repeatedly, though overreaching on the last swing a bit. Either way, 'one more good hit' Korath thought, 'and it'll be "nightie night" for this pirate captain.'

"You have a choice, Captain," Korath says as he returns to a defensive stance. "Take your men and leave now, or be prepared to take an unexpected nap and be carried out. The choice is yours."

Well then... looks like we might not be able to sneak around as easily as we thought... having a speeder draws attention. We should walk.
