IMO FFG really has to clean up the RRG.

By Ken on Cape, in Rules

I was just looking over suppression in the RRG. Under that entry, it says during the rally step of a unit's activation, they can roll a die for each suppression token they have. So I go look up rally in the RRG, it says see activation phase on page 12.

I go to the activation phase entry and there is nothing about a rally phase during a units activation. Rally is not mentioned at all. So when is the rally step exactly? May be important.

FFG, you need to cross check stuff better.

Rally should say: See activating units. The information is right there. It is also on page 12.

its under Activating Units

And yeah its a mess. We all know this and FFG is aware, we already know a moderately extensive eratta/faq is gonna pop up soon.

You are right, it is on page 12 of the RRG. I was looking under activation phase. Its under Activating units entry. Sorry.

Easy misunderstanding to make, the phase referring to the time in which players go back and forth on units, rather than an individual activation.

Its the same with Recover. It’s actually listed in Activating Units not Activating Phase. Not a big issue as I usually type out a quick guide for myself of more frequently goto rules. Can’t wait though for the updated RRG.
