If open to an Intelligence

I'm thinking of going Intelligence/Sabotage/Combat Victory

Im wanting to play an Airborne SWAT basically. Raiding compounds and arresting mob bosses or terrorist leaders for further interrogation if possible. I've got binders for making arrests.

No single Duty seems to fit perfectly though

Any thoughts @Kabal?

Hmmm. Sounds like some of the interesting SWAT/Airborne concepts are filled to a degree. Might run a Commander/Recruit option focussing on Knowledge and Combat Co-ordination. Someone who can rapidly break down an opponents plan and provide intel on the ground.

Depending on our starting ship/ships could also provide some interesting space co-ordination and assault planning.

Duty would be Military Intelligence perhaps. Or an interesting twist might be a duty focussing on positive combat attrition (trying to keep the Empires assets alive against the Heinous Rebel Terrorists)

That sounds like our missing Phil Coulson Face/Leader role!

Well if you guys are happy with that. Thinking Commodore/Squadron leader is tempting. Both have utility on the ground. Good skill sets. Same career so avoid XP tax. Also Ranged (Light) and Gunnery is a surprisingly flexible choice for ground and space weapons.

Early on Commodore gives me Knowledge (Warfare), (Education) and (Outrim). Astrogation and computers are always helpful.

Commander gives ready access to; cool, perception, vigilence, discipline AND leadership.

Squadron leader as my secondary specialisation picks up piloting (space and planet), gunnery AND mechanics.

Looks good for your tactician and leader that isn't deadweight in combat so far as I can see?

Edit:Chiss is just soooo tempting. But I will resist the cliche.

Yeah, that'll work. Commodore is fairly straightforward, while Squadron Leader gets some decent command bonuses. If you want some more combat ability at the cost of some leadership and piloting, Tactician is also a good choice in place of either Commodore or Squadron Leader.

Yeah, just depends if you want career skills or talents for the style of combat. The mention universal specs has both too.
