Exhausted weapon/firing in same turn?

By Son of Skywalker, in Rules

Hey guys I need some help with some rules. Ok so I fire the missile launcher and now it is exhausted. Next turn I use a recovery action to unexhaust the launcher. Does that mean that I can fire it again in the same turn? Could you please help me with this as well as give me a page number reference? Also when you perform a recovery action that means that all and any suppression tokens are all removed? I thank you for any and all hope.

Well, you get two actions per activation, and you can never make two attack actions in the same activation.

So, first, you can activate, fire the launcher, then Recover to unexhaust it. Next activation, you can fire again, and recover again to unexhaust it. If you start your activation with it exhausted, you can Recover FIRST and THEN fire it.

Also, when you recover it removes all suppression tokens.

Recover is on Page 39 of the RRG.

I haven't played much, but I used this to great effect the other day. In a breakthrough scenario my opponent ran his AT-RT directly at my troopers were armed with an HH-12. For their first turn they aimed and fired. On the next round I activated them first, they recovered and fired again. The AT-RT never got of a shot.

Veers has a nice command card called Imperial Discipline, lets u assign order tokens to Veers and 2 other units, when they get the order tokens they can do a recover outside of their normal activation. I.e Turn 1, Aim or Move, fire exhaustible weapon, Turn 2, Play Imperial Discipline, assign tokens and recover exhausted weapons, Activate unit, Aim or Move, fire exhaustible weapon again.
