So a situation came up tonight where Vader wanted to squeeze between a building and the ATST, there was a gap between them, but slightly smaller than the movement template, so some of the template (maybe a quarter) overlapped the base of the atst at one point (Vader could completely clear the atst thought)

Was this blocked or could be complete the move? We ruled no.

Blocked because you have to slide the model along the tempate. If any part of Vader's base would hit either the buidling or AT-ST base while sliding along the template path, he eould have to stop.
