This is something the person that was running the demo games at my FLGS noticed. One of the sets was fully painted. Not sure how much primer or coats of paint were used, or what kind of paint. But after painting, the movement tools wouldn’t fit into the wedge on the base good or all the way. The paint was too thick.

Just something to keep in mind.

Yeah, I noticed this might be an issue when I first went about sprucing up my movement tools.

Best bet is to mask the base edges and leave them bare. Luckily the faction base colors are quite nice.

I even have some issues with this unpainted, would actually think about filing a bit off from the base so the tempoate wont stick to the base!
