Base colors (minus facial hair, buckles, and grenades) are done for Zeb Squad.

....i do not know why.....but it makes me think of the musician formerly known as prince....

I'm thinking Jack Nicholson's Joker, when he's wearing a beret in the art gallery scene.

I'm getting a David Niven (Guns of Navarone) feel.

I ordered a pre cut sheet of steel 11 1/8" x 11 1/8". It was easier than bothering trying to cut it myself.

I used Gorilla Glue.

I still have to do the bases, but i'm excited about these guys so here's a picture.

your bold color scheme looks nice, any reason to have different color pants on the two?

@Rogue Dakotan ... like the bright scheme. I am too conventional/conservative to try and like seeing someone do something really different.

Just because they have different colored jackets. And they're the heavy weapons minis so I guess that's another reason to let them stand apart.

Because Chopper is the best, i'm working on a statue/monument to Chopper to use as Terrain on whatever table I happen to be at, since I don't have any terrain at home.

All assembled and primed. Next step painting!

Almost done. Just gotta add some verdigris to the metal and maybe a propoganda poster or two to the stone base somewhere.

I have two core sets so I wasn't broken up about mutilating some barricades.

I had an extra probe droid figure from IA so I finally had a good use for it.

Another update. Not done yet.

Nice work on the figures and I love the different colour scheme's you have given them.

I did my best to follow the methods from this video.

Mine came out waaaaaaaaay more thick and covered than his did, so I brushed some bronze back over it and it turned out alright. still a bit more overwhelming than I had planned.

Chopper Squad posing with the finished monument to their namesake. Pretty pleased with the final result.

Tried making my own decals for the first time.

Added a Convor to my Sabine AT-RT.

I added AT-ST kill markers and the symbol from the Phantom II onto my Ghost T-47.

That verdigris is so perfectly realistic! Would seriously believe it's bronze if I didn't know otherwise.

Great work on reproducing the Phantom II symbol! AND those kill markings.
