Or more likely, something like Agent Kallus and Scout troopers so it’s at least canon / somewhat thematic.

Based on the commando unit for rebels I am sure Scout trooper snipers are next. The commander is the question.

I'd like to see some Shadowtroopers eventually. Probably later (a lot later), but it would be cool to see some.

As for a commander to go with them, what about Galak Fyyar? He would be quite an intimidating opponent in his Cortosis Power amour.

Not saying that I wouldn't like what I previously posted, But it seems I mistook Shadow Troopers for Shadowtroopers! I would like to see Shadow Troopers and Shadowtroopers, actually.

FFG isn't making this easy for me to stick with the "just buy 2 cores and 2 vehicles and nothing else until the local community stabilizes" plan

While Krennic could be released at the same time as Scouts, wouldn't make much sense. We never saw him directly with them, especially when the Deathtroopers were his personal troops. FFG so far has kept the additional releases with some sort of theme (Veers & snowies, Leia & fleet, Endor Han and & commandos). Blaise makes the most sense for a scout team, albeit slightly boring for a commander. It all depends on how mirrored they want to release the sets. If Rebels get snipers, do the Imperials have to get them or can they get a different utility with their special forces? I'd personally like to see some difference between the factions so they feel like two different armies.

This is going to be the hard part of filling out armies for FFG. Imperials have great units, lack of solid commanders. Rebels have great commanders but a serious lack of units.

I’m thinking it will be Gary for the Imperials.

Yeah, especially if the Rebel speeder bike rumour is legit - the factions almost become mirrors.

(Chewie in a captured AT-ST would just round it the whole deal)

So we’re missing product codes SWL 14 & 15 (which are between Leia/Fleet Troopers and the terrain expansions) and SWL 18 & 19 (which are between the terrain expansions and Solo/Commandos).

Alex Davy mentioned Scout Troopers at some point so I’m guessing those and an Imperial Commander will release alongside Solo and Rebel Commandos. Maybe Thrawn or Piett or Pryce. Those would be SWL 18 & 19 releasing sometime in Q3 2018.

As for products SWL 14 and 15, I’d assume they’d release sooner - so sometime in Q2. Coincidentally the Solo movie releases at the end of May. I wonder if we’ll see two units around late May or June that coincide with that movie. Maybe Range Troopers or Mud Troopers and a Rebel counterpart.

@OMGBRICK Well, Spanish site has Leia and Fleet troopers as May still, so I don't think they'll have a release to go with the movie. We probably won't see if that is accurate for a bit though.

@Caimheul1313 Yeah its a longshot that we'd get SWL 14/15 with the Solo movie in May but I'm holding out hope that they'll surprise us.

If I recall correctly, when FFG released TFA ships and the TFA starter set for X-Wing, they kept it under wraps until two or three weeks before it hit stores.

If I could put anything on the wish list I’d say Dark Troopers. The phase 2/3 ones they were so badass. Not sure if they’re canon, and even if they are they’re a long time coming. But a big brute on the battlefield with a jet pack and some serious tank/damage abilities just screams empire.

They're Canon.

Well, the NAME is canon. But the armor changed and the Phase IIs aren't droids anymore (as far as I know).

I should be more specific.

The rebels have their Spec-ops unit containing a sniper.

We've had Scout Troopers confirmed as a Spec-ops.

And considering a Canon Sniper-Trooper looks like this:

I'd expect them to arrive in the Scout Trooper expansion.

The actual scout troopers will probably have pistols, based on other canon sources.

I am guessing 14 and 15 are a vehicle of some sort for each faction, whether a support vehicle or a heavy vehicle, and that 18 and 19 are the Imperial counter parts to Han and the commandos. So far they have introduced more troopers and commanders, and the first rebel special forces, so more of the other types of units would be nice. Make it so there are a couple more options for all unit types.
