Based off the releases we've seen so far it looks like we get 1 commander and 1 other unit for the releases per side, what combinations do you think might be coming out in the expansions after Han, Rebel Commandos and their Imperial equivalent?

Not sure on an Imperial counterpart however...

Hmm, there's a lot of options. Right now, corps and commanders are the only unit types that the sides have more than one option for. I personally would like more heavies. But I'm guessing we'll see supports instead.
Maybe the Rebel speeder bikes refer to the ones from the Rebels TV show? And I'd like to see an AT-DP for the Imps.
I wouldn't be surprised to have Rebel Corps unit of Hoth Troopers, perhaps with General Madine at some point. Death Troopers with Krennic wouldn't surprise me either. At some point though I would expect we start seeing releases without commanders

The problem with the imperials is the well known commanders are mostly fleet officers.. idk.

The "Luke and Leia" part of the leak could be coming from the bikes having both male and female pilots...

We agree there. I always expected Rebel bikes because we see them use on Endor and it's a "gimme" model, just change the rider change some art on the card and you have another release. Might have the AT-PT or some other rough imperial equivalent to the AT-RT.

They might try to use some of the IA Imperial characters like they have with General Weiss and the AT-ST, they might make up some, or they might pull from their RPG line like they have with some stuff for X-Wing pilots for some Scum stuff.

I just saw a name and some Imperial units and assumed that the named character was a Sandtrooper commander someone named.
Since they used Weiss from IA, it wouldn't surprise me if they included Blaise or Kayn Somos from IA too. Also they could put in the Imperial Probe Droids or Sentry droids too.

R2-D2 and C-3PO though with a game like this, not sure how they functional they would be. Relay orders or something maybe.

Wampas: Probably a heavy unit at some point in the future, but not right now.
Tank from IA: Would like to see this, but it seems like the next Imperial wave will be snipers.
R2D2&C3PO: Probably will show up as an attachment to another unit at some time soon.
We will get Palp and the Royal Guard, then Saw and his Renegades, With Krennic and Death Troopers, then depends on what they want to pull from, like I could see Iden and Inferno Squad as well as a Jyn Erso/Cassian/K2SO specialist pack. I can also see them adding in Lando and Bespin Guards, Bib Fortuna with some Gaemorans, Boba Fett and the rest of the bounty hunters from episode v, A Rancor and Trainer, the crew of Rebels tv show, the inquisitorsous, Gar Saxon and the Mado's, Fenn Rau and the Concord Dawn protectorate.
I mean there are a ton of things to choose from. before they even leave the OT.
Governor Pryce wouldn't be too bad a choice, while she is by all accounts an awful leader, her field gear is pretty cool and maybe she could do something like shoot at units in melee to show her incompetent ruthlessness.

I was thinking him too but what a let down compared to Rebels. You got Luke/Leia/Han and then Vader/Veers and some random dude made up for Imperial Assault? Very anticlimatic.
My money would be on Emperor/Royal Guards or Krennic/Deathtroopers.

Legion already has General Weiss as a pilot for the AT-ST.
The devs have already confirmed Scout Troopers and since the Rebels just got their snipers, I'd expect the Scout Troopers to be the Imperial counter-wave.
