I've tempered some of my own creations. Im a new player, and a new user, and im trying to get some characters balanced for me and my group. If anyone could comment on their creativeness/fairness that would be great!

So, basically the Wrestler is a 7 Fight / 7 Will character with a Speed of 5? I'm afraid it's a little... broken
The other one is thematically very good, and not too unbalanced (even if a starting Sanity of 8 is really good)
heheh whoops
Any advice on making characters is welcome! thank you!
Master Fwiffo, I was skeptical about the carnival heroes, but I must admit I like a lot of them. The Clown's Make 'Em Laugh ability is particularly clever and thematic, though I'm not sure how often you'd be able to use it most effectively (when there are multiple investigators together in a location).

Yeah, I was thinking about him last night after I posted. He needs some drawbacks in speed, and I'm thinking of disallowing him to use any weapons whatsoever.
But his real weakness is Encounters - he's completely a one-note character (by intent).
Although, Nightmarish ruins him.

I'm really curious about what you guys thought of the Lion Tamer - the idea for his ability more-or-less sparked the entire Circus theme, and I think it's one of the more interesting ones I've come up with.
Yeah, it's true he's weak at encounters, but still, you can play him as the only monster whacker, without sending him at any location during the whole game. He's good thematically, but he really needs a fix. Possibly, reduce his Speed to 3, and his max Fight to 6. Or maybe disallow him to use any weapon. This would make the thing interesting (and possibly thematically good).
As for the Nightmarish ruining him... it's more Mythos Lore his real damnation ::laughter:: you can deal with the nightmarish problem with a bottle of Whiskey, or, later on, with Duke. Or you can introduce from his "The story so far" a good reason for certain monsters to be Nightmarish 1 against him (we don't have so many Nightmarish monsters in the cup to make really difficult for him to survive)

The Hair Stylist and the Conman are solid. I kinda like the idea behind the Insomniac, but paying money while you're asleep just doesn't make sense thematically. The Veteran needs a little finess - I'm not entirely sure what his War Hero ability is supposed to do.
And I Just Don't Get the Nude Theologin.

I rebalanced him a bit.
He's still got absurdly high fight, but the rest of his stats are terrible all around, his first ability now costs 2 Stamina (he can only use if 3 times now). I also disallowed weapons, but came up with an interesting use for his otherwise dead items (if he doesn't want to trade them).

Much, much, much better in this way :-) Fun to play, thematically coherent and interesting under a strategical point of view (you have to invest in skills or allies to give him a boost). Generally speaking, I like the whole idea (this one and the other characters as well). And pictures are cool!

Yeah, that was another one I really liked.

But the ability is "sleepless night" so he aint sleepin'

Well, paying money while you're lying in bed trying to sleep doesn't make sense either.

This sentence can have some curious interpretations...
It would make sense thematically if i would have posted the image so it didnt cut out his "story so far". When he cant sleep he gets up to read in his librabry as per usual. Of course, your opinion is a valid one. As is, it definately doesnt make any sense.
What I'm more interested in now, is is the ability balanced.

Right-click and select "Open Image in New Tab" or "View Image" or whatever option like that you have. Then you can see the whole thing, full-size.
Hi, theres a long time of no posting ... but im back .. i created some things that i think, are peaces of art ... hope u enjoy them ..
The 1st one is a Support .. an amazing support .. but just that .. she cant do it good by her self .. unless somehow she gets skills or allies .. that would potentialy make her amazing .. i really like this investigator, its amazingly fun ..
The 2nd one .. its a support ether .. but this guy is so good make clues appears .. sometimes the game steal all the clues or they just got stucked .. well .. this investigator is there .. she also can close gates very easily .. as a thing to add .. i was thinking in a personal story that makes her win the ability to share/give clue tokents to others .. and/or win a "press pass" that will pump her ..
i hope u all enjoy them .. and ill b waiting for ur comments .. try them before comment ..
thx !!! sorry if my english isnt that good ..
It's movement points, not Speed points. Description of first one's abilites is sorta unclear. Instead of using two same-named abilities, try to rename one of them or merge em up.
Hey Yestom, Nice characters!
The images are awesome, and I like the abilities you gave them. I havent seen many support characters, but so far they seem really cool! Wish I could give you information about game balance, or something but im a new player, and I dont know much about creating characters. good luck playtesting!
**** i didnt saw i wrote the abilities with tha same name .. the idea of the first ability on Little Adeline is to move to anothers investigator location when that investigator stops his movement for any reason ( monster colition or just end movement in a location ) .. the idea is to move and move .. and pump up the other investigators .. as u c .. she is so weak so .. she has potential .. but she is weak .. i hope u like her .. try it and tell me what u think .. ill repost her with the abilities well writen im sorry ..
I might even drop her fight more. if she gets her hands on basically any double handed firearm, it might be a littlte unbalanced given her skill. Anyone else have more input?
As far as I'm concerned, combat does not transers that way, only Fight does.
Random idea I had.
I may be too conservative on this one, but in my eyes bumping inv's skill over 6 or lowering it below 3 is bad design. FFG originally created this frame of skills and never got out of it.
Also, In my opinion, having a limit of only 3 items is a huge drawback. But, provided by lucky draws, it can pay itself with Clue tokens. It's all about luck(I mean, real one, not the skill, printed at the investigator's sheet).
+2 evade won't help much, if items draw will be unlucky.
And the personal story. It suggest you to run around Arkham like crazy. By the time you could finish it - you'll prolly won't be needing those skill bonuses. And completion of this story will prolly affect negatively the entire group(if it's not 8 players game ofc, where there is always something about 1-3 investigators with nothing to do).
