Corruption condition question

By FrinkiacVII, in General Discussion

I just played our first game with the Masks expansion, and I have questions about Corruption condition cards:

The front of the card reads "You may gain 1 Eldritch token to reroll 1 die when resolving a test."

1. Most cards that give you a reroll state "once per turn" or "once per test" and/or limit the reroll to a single type of test, but when you use clues to reroll dice, you are only limited by the number of clues you have (assuming you keep failing on rolls and want more rerolls). This card does not use language similar to the language on those other cards, so I conclude that you may take an Eldritch token to get a reroll as often as you want, and as many times as you want for a given test. Is this right?

2. What happens if/when the box runs out of Eldritch tokens? Am I allowed to take additional rerolls and just use pennies, dice, or something to indicate my investigator's current number of Eldritch tokens?

3. The Eldritch tokens gained stay with the investigator even if they lose the Corruption condition, correct?

4. The only way to lose the Eldritch tokens is to flip the card and take the Dark Pact, right? And if you already have a Dark Pact, you can't take second one, right?

5. Suppose an investigator takes multiple Eldritch Tokens to get rerolls for some test and ends up using like ALL of the remaining tokens somehow, then later a Mythos card comes up that needs like 4 Eldritch Tokens to be placed on it. What do you do then?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

No.
The "Conditions" entry in the Reference Guide reads:
" If a Condition’s effect does not list a limit, it may only be used once per instance of the triggered event. "
The "event" in this case is "resolving a test". You get to use the Corruption's reroll once per resolving a test.
No cards state that you can reroll "once per test" as "once per test" is the default.

Yes.
The "Component Limitations" entry in the Reference Guide reads:
" Any token, other than Clues, Gates, and Monsters, is always available. If there are no remaining tokens of the specified type, track those tokens on paper or with a small object such as a coin "

Correct.
This is answered in the FAQ at the end of Masks of Nyarlathotep rulebook:
" Q. Are the Eldritch tokens gained from a Corruption Condition discarded when I discard the Condition?
A. No. The Corruption Condition (and some other effects) cause you to gain Eldritch tokens which are placed on your Investigator sheet. Eldritch tokens you have gained are not discarded unless an effect specifically allows you to spend or discard them. "

No. The are some other ways.

This is the same matter as in the question numer 2. It's answered under that question.

1. I think you can use it only once per test

my gut - no reference

2. Eldritch token pool is infinite and use substitute

Reference guide:

Any token, other than Clues, Gates, and Monsters, is always available. If there are no remaining tokens of the specified type, track those tokens on paper or with a small object such as a coin.

3. They stay

Masks rulebook:
