Free Action Attacks and Two-Weapon Fighting

By ElouvianaZashira, in Black Crusade Rules Questions

Honestly, not even sure if this forum is used anymore, but I ask anyway.

Say you've got a gun with a Combat MIU you can fire as a free action. If you shoot that, and then attack with a sword in the other hand, do you need Two Weapon Wielder to do it without getting crippling debuffs, or do they count as separate attacks?

You can use only one Attack-subtype action in one turn (Corebook, p.234) and two weapon attack must be a part of Attack action (Corebook, 238-239 and 243-245).

There was a response to this way back when.

Although I don't think it ever got put into formal FAQs.

I'd have no problem with you using your MIU gun and another gun as the two weapons in two-weapon wielder (so you could fire one MIU pistol and a two-handed weapon).

@Jargal is quite correct that you can't make a second attack action without explicit permission to do so.
