Warhammer powerpoint template?

By stanmons, in WFRP Gamemasters

I use a laptop to run my WHFRP adventures and have been documenting adventures in Word but this creates too lengthy documents and I was thinking maybe a powerpoint template could do the trick.

Would any of you WHFRP resource masters have one stylized ppt theme ready to go?

And no, I'm not planning to run my adventures openly as powerpoint presentation :-) Maybe showing one picture slide in a LCD tv near the gaming table to set the theme?

I periodically use some visuals. I'll google a picture of a monster or something as necessary. I'd be interested to see what you can do with this.

For authenticity, you could blank out a page from the FAQ and use that as your background. I've done that for some of my game visuals too (and our house rulebook).

RELATED NOTE: For those of you out there without powerpoint, remember there is always OPEN OFFICE, which has that for free.

I've thought of exactly the same thing, and so I'm planning on working on this in a few weeks during my vacation; if you haven't come up with something suitable by then, I'm happy to share whatever I have with you when I have it.

Thanks guys, that would be perfect! If anyone of you is creating tables for skill checks, NPCs even better but let's make this a collaborative effort by all means. I'm also prototyping something and if I'm proud enough of it I'll post it here.

Hi, any change you guys made a superb powerpoint / openoffice template you could share? I use MacOS these days and will try Keynote if it is "Warhammer friendly".

Hey! I'm using Keynote on my iPad and just using the Renaissance premade template. I don't know if that's available in iWork 09, though, because I don't have my computer with the latest version near me.

Was there anything in particular you're looking for the template to do, or did you just want something that looked graphically Warhammery?

Hi, "Warhammery" looking template is just fine. I've used Dominican font which creates some feeling. Of course if you would have good templates for NPCs, monster stats, events etc the more the better.
