Haha... I doubt we've met as I don't usually hang out in game stores, but yeah, I'd meet up to play. Do you have a local game store you frequent? I've typically gone to Game Night Games or Demolition Games.

I live in Saratoga Springs and usually frequent the Utah Valley and southern Salt Lake Valley stores, so that would explain why I didn't know. I'd be fine to head that way sometime, but I can meet more easily if it's a little more south than the stores you mentioned. Otherwise, I can probably do a Saturday sometime up in SLC.

So I have a group of 3 regular players here in the Phoenix area (east valley) with 2 new players showing a significant amount of interest. One of my regulars is leaving in the next week for 6 months. I am trying to build the group up to enough players to get a tournament scene going here. Who else plays in the Phoenix area (especially the east valley) that might be interested in joining up every once in a while, hopefully at an equidistant game store that is willing to host?

I see a Chris B on the player map, but with no contact information listed.

Any other players out there in my area? I feel like if we can get 8 regular players together we can get some good tournaments going. I'm close to having 4 here now and will likely have 5 in 6 months....

Just added our gaming store in Kuwait, long shot but why not ?

We need to continue to spam this map everywhere, or encourage more people to add themselves if they have not already.

If more people that were on the fence about investing in this game were just browsing the map and noticed people near them, it might be enough to convince them to play and reach out to people and start building local communities.

Reason I say this is because I am in two Facebook groups, Runewars: The Miniatures Game and it’s UK equivalent.

There are like 2000 combined users in these groups and yet the map only has 120 people on it.

So much potential!

I am aware that you can’t force people and that all people won’t want to disclose their information, but I’m still positive we can increase the numbers on this map.

Added myself. I haven’t found a community here in DFW, but maybe some people will see it and realize there are others who want to play the game here, too.

Added my info. I have a core & 1/2 and a pretty decent sized Waiqar army with some elves coming this week. I have never played and originally bought for cheap minis, but good deals have got me buying more. I am an X-Wing, Armada, IA, Descent and many other board game player so I am excited to try and will even be up to demo locally after I get some games under my belt. I have not seen a single person locally play, hope to change that.

Cusm, the Runewars group in Tulsa still meets. I missed it this past Saturday, had to deal with a plumbing issue at home.

Hey people, I've added myself. I live in Ushuaia, Argentina, literally the end of the world (that is, for those of us who don't believe the earth is flat, lol!). I'm here since last August. I know it would be extremely difficult to find people from here to play any game, RWM in particular, but since Ushuaia is quite a turistic spot I hope some day someone would travel here for holidays and would like to spend a few hours playing with me.

Ha! My parents were in Ushuaia over Christmas. Unfortunately they didn't take me with them, otherwise I'd have been happy to play a battle.
