For those of you curious, I'm predicting a March 1 release for Terrinoth.

That sounds about the right timescale, and talking of scales I've heard whisperings that it's now on the dragon. The big delivery companies don't have warehouses in Terrinoth just yet.

Spot the difference (except shouldn't it really be Mennara to cover all [miniatures'] bases and places [pun intended] *cheeky being picky smile*)
It would be kinda cool if Genesys: Terrinoth was actually linked on the Terrinoth page, considering the art and setting book for Android is linked on its page. Hopefully the omission is just an oversight, but it triggers the usual round of grumbling that they're not handling the marketing for Genesys particularly well.

Yay! Finally! I can't even begin to tell you how much it irked me that they placed Runebound above their other games in this universe once they expanded it beyond just that and Descent (and the earlier entries).

Agreed, even though it's not out yet, as fans of some of the games might go, ooh that's changed, look to see why and find Genesys as a result!
QuoteLook for a deeper look at these customization options in future previews of Realms of Terrinoth !
It's been five weeks. I suspect in another five weeks the actual book will be available. I'd say one of those previews (conspicuously plural) sure would be nice about now.
Oh no, is someone antsy for a preview of their book that is taking less than two months to release
? How awful for you!
Sorry for the bad sarcasm, but us fans of Unlimited Power have been waiting near five months for the first of our similarly promised multiple previews, and it's looking like we're not going to get any for the remaining ~4.5 weeks we have left to wait.
Terrinoth , on the other hand, is likely to be out by March 1, so you folks eagerly awaiting it have only ~2.5 weeks left.
Sooo... suck it up?
This post is made in jest, and is not intended to be combative; simply to highlight how the same problem can look different from different perspectives.
If the delivery date for Terrinoth is actually that quick, maybe they're switching to a state-side printing facility for all of their books. It would be nice if the massive delays encourage FFG to transfer their book printing, provided some moronic contract stipulation isn't keeping them from doing so with their licensed IPs.

Notice I led with the quote from their first article. Their article. The one FFG wrote back when they promised more articles.
Of course I can wait for the book to arrive. It's not like I have a choice. And there's plenty for us to do in the meantime, including posting to complain about the lack of previews, or posting to complain about people complaining about the lack of previews. Productive stuff like that.
Use the force and be patient, they have to do all those daily Star Wars updates first
Or Darth will hit them with his laser stick, the IP is strong in this one....
Re availability date: "available in the second quarter of 2018", might we have to wait til April at the earliest?, how fixed/approximate are these dates i.e. is the actual sometimes earlier?

I'm pretty excited for this! Totally going to slap it in my generator for all the craft rules and such ....

How is this the first time I'm hearing about this?
Ditto.... looks interesting...

Here's my thread about the thing.
I don't want to take away from this product though, so if you want to chat about the thing I made just do it there.
But to answer your question, I'm a terrible promoter.
A month and a half and still waiting for the first of those "future previews". Sometimes I feel like FFG forces itself to sign an NDA. The book is also not even listed on the Terrinoth product page.
My complaints spring from my excitement. We had a largely positive experience with the playtest so far (one more session upcoming). Genesys rocks for the Fantasy genre, and Terrinoth seems like it could be a rich setting (I don't play minis games, so I'm not familiar with most of the existing RuneX stuff). I'm fairly certain it will be a great world to explore, but I'd love to at least start putting some thought into the specifics of the campaign. I'm checking daily for...pretty much anything at this point.

Thank you sir. I got a good laugh out of this.
Posted this in newer RoT thread, but GTM #217 has the Terrinoth Sourcebook printed as an April 2018 release. GTM is the publication from Alliance Game Distributors that retailers get to help generate preorders from their customers and advanced ordering.

Must make March march faster!
This needs to come out now so I can cannibalize it for my Middle Earth setting!
And count some additional tendays for the europe release

And at least one "tenday" for the PDF, although I won't be able to resist that long.
