So a new species to add to the ever growing list - if you're up to it, that is!
Poletecs - https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Poletec - new species on Skako Minor as featured in the new episodes of Clone Wars season 7. Not much to go on, but would be interested in seeing them.

Thanks. I honestly don't remember those guys, but it's been a few years since I saw that episode.

Isn't it just realeased this month?

Disney has recently removed the official uploads from the Star Wars YouTube channel, but the Bad Batch episodes were uploaded in 2015 and anyone could've watched them.
At this point, I think that the new species for v6 are just about fully written, finishing with 316 species. The timeline for its release is looking like:
At this point, v6 should be fully ready to go in a month.
Have you done the Chazrach, by chance?

I would if I had a good image for them.

A rough cut version of those episodes were released years ago. What we are seeing now is the polished final version, and some new arcs that previously were not released.
Firstly, I just wanted to say thank you for this amazingly put together list. Currently making my way through them, and wanted to add a species that I didn't see on the TBA list:
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Sylphe
If it's somewhere already on the list and I missed it, I apologize. Thank you again for the extensive and well put together list! Has been a great help!

Cool! I'll try to get those added in the near future. They'll definitely need a big asterisk for their unclear continuity, but they seem very neat otherwise.
Just jumping in to say thank you. I absolutely love this project, keep up the good work.
We're getting closer to v6, and all that I really have to do is update the OggDude's dataset, which should be done in a week or so. There will also be a return of the fancy graphics version, although it may not be done until after the other two versions are out.
Do you have stats for the Akuria please?
They where in a WEG source book and a Comic.
I found these Stats: https://rpggamer.org/page.php?page=5119
One question
Dangerous Covenants Page 53
Human or a species I do not recognize?
Dreenan,
I’ve been curious about this exact pic for a long time myself! She’s probably a human, but Sephi is a possibility.
Edited by Seven HellsThe people who devote much of their time to editting Wookieepedia articles chose not to list Sephi as a species that appears in Dangerous Covenants, and I generally assume that such individuals know more about Star Wars than I. However, it's possible that they just were staying on the safe side as they werent 100% sure it was a Sephi. However, neither humans nor Sephi are usually that red, although maybe that's just an effect of whatever light she's supposed to be in. Star Wars has a long tradition of pictured long-eared near-humans without identifying the species. The common concensus, as suggested by Leeland Chee, is that these are either Sephi or of a species closely related to Sephi.

As I write this comment, the full flavor text is a work in progress, but anywho.... I started a page for Akurian . The stats are a pretty straightforward translation from WEG as there isn't really enough information to make me believe anything other than what WEG says. Cold adaptations, primitive, brawn and WT to match Wookiees, and a rank in Coercion to reflect that most fear them. Presence 1 or Intellect 1 is kind of a toss up, as d6 penalizes them for Technical, Mechanical, Knowledge, Persuasion, and Bargain.
v6 of the Complete Species Guide is now out! The Fancy Graphics version has returned, again giving the CSG an incredible aesthetic, alongside the OggDude's Dataset and Printer Friendly versions as always. It features 60 new species, delving into many of WEG's more obscure additions to the Star Wars universe, and it it also the first version to feature Canon species not included in FFG: Abednedo, Ardennian, and Anzellan. Additionally, I have revisited some of the guide's oldest pages, proofreading in order to eliminate typos and make them easier to read.
Another side note that I would like to mention, as someone has been running into this recently and I have no way to contact them directly: The CSG's google drive links should work for everyone on the internet; you don't need permission. However, some domains can prevent link sharing. If you're logged into a gmail account affiliated with one of these organizations (cough Albuquerque Public Schools cough) it will block link sharing and tell you that you do not have permission to view the CSG. I can do nothing to change this on my end, but this should be very easy to circumvent by simply logging out. Either log into a personal account (anything ending in @gmail.com should be fine), sign out manually, or simply go into an incognito window. The CSG should be available to anyone browsing while not logged in or to those signed into personal account.
I try to test all the links while signed out to make sure that they work, but every once in a while, links do get messed up, so if you still can't see the CSG even when you're signed out, then the link is probably outdated or I've made some other mistake. Please let me know via these forums or email [email protected] if that happens, and I'll try to update the link.
@Yaccarus Thank you for this wonderful book.
I created an account and wanted to make my first post to thank you for all the work you put into this project.
I think you did a great job representing so many species, many species that I have never even thought to use in a campaign before.
One of our group's players is a Toydarian Politico. Playing as a face character, he wanted to be the ultimate in manipulating social encounters and avoiding being manipulated by others. He didn't notice that the RAW didn't provide him with the ability to resist Jedi mind tricks and it wasn't until after a few months investing into his character that we noticed this. Obviously, anything can be house-ruled, however, how you gave Toydarians, " Force Resistance - Force Resistance: When targeted by a telepathic Force Power, increase the difficulty by 2.". Little things like this, really help with the narrative mechanical function of the species abilities, keeping it useful, balanced and in-line with player expectation. So thank you for the adding details like this.
One of our group's players also is playing a Northern Mustafarian Droid Tech. I noticed that the talent Eye for Detail was replaced with Gearhead. I only noticed after importing the custom dataset to OggDude's character generator. Is there a reason behind this?

My pleasure! Things have kinda stagnated and I haven't updated anything for the past few months, but let me know if there's something you'd like to see added or changed.

My rationale at the time on the Northern Mustafarian was that not everyone has purchased Special Modifications, the sourcebook that introduced the Eye for Detail talent. Obviously, FFG didn't have this worry since their Mustafarian stat block only occurs in Special Modifications. For me, trying not to lean too heavily on books that some people may not have, Gearhead fills a similar role and doesn't detract too much from their flavor, but it is also easily comprehensible to anyone that has a Core Rulebook.
However, this line of thought hasn't necessarily been reflected in all of my stat blocks, especially the more recent ones. Draedan, Kerkoiden, Lannik, and Hiromi all have stat blocks that reference Knowledge-Warfare. Anzati and Arcona both make references to the Addiction Obligation. 10 of the more Force-inclined species such as Sith, Voss, Dathomirian Human, and Yoda's Species receive the mentor discount on certain Force powers.
That's just my two cents, though. If you have some input on this, I'd definitely think about changing it.

Hi Yaccarus, it's really considerate that you thought about giving players an option so that didn't require them to buy an additional sourcebook just for that one talent. One suggestion to address this is, is to keep it in-line with your original thinking and also add the information from Special Modifications. This way you could add Gearhead and Eye for Detail both as options but the player would have to choose one or the other. That allows players that have Special Modifications to build their species according to RAW but for those that don't have it, they would still be able to use the Gearhead talent. This makes sense thematically and mechanically, without unbalancing anything.
You could handle it similarly for the other species you mentioned giving them an alternative that doesn't require an additional book.
For those that have Addiction Obligation or Mentor Discount you could treat it similar to allowing the player to how you handle Primitive trait which gives a boost to XP but creates a negative effect. The players can always choose to not have an addiction or not receive a mentor discount but their XP is adjusted accordingly.
Keep up the good work!
