I’ve been working on it slowly and quietly, but it’s still going on, yeah. If you have any questions, species requests, comments, etc. feel free to ask.
I’m still going through the Ultimate Alien Anthology, and I have about 10 more species from there that I want to add, and once that’s done, I’m planning on calling it v5.0 and doing another PDF/Dataset update. As usual, the change log lists all of the species that I’ve added recently.
This is Amazing! We've been using the Species Menagerie, which is super cool too, but this has so many more choices. Thank you for all your hard work! If you need help adding anything from the recent books, I'd be happy to assist!
Chance you could compile them into one?

The PDFs and Datasets folder has most of those things. The PDF with fancy graphics can be downloaded by going to the link in the document called "Fancy Graphics v4.5" If you want a printer friendly version, that can be found in the "Older Versions" folder (v4.4 is the latest printer friendly version)
All that being said, most of the recent updates are only available as individual docs right now. v4.4 and v5.5 still have over 150 species, but if you want the full 250 species on one PDF, that's not coming out for awhile. I'm working on a few more pages and hoping to reach a good stopping point in a week or two, and after that, I'm going to
a. Transfer ``the ~100 new pages into the OggDude's dataset plus update about 20 that got changed a tiny bit in order to make OggDude's dataset v5
b. Do the same sort of thing but with a spreadsheet in order to make Fancy Graphics Version v5
c. Compile all the documents in order to make Printer Friendly Version v5
Let's shoot for end of February to get v5 uploaded
TL;DR: I did that awhile back but it isn't updated, so stay tuned for updated compilations.
I have a couple of races that are not on the list. Most of these are from SWTOR and the other has been in the game and books. Here's the list;
- Killiks
- Gormack
- Voss
- Sarkhai

This comment has been at the back of my mind for more than year now, and I finally did a page for Florn Lamproids.

Purely coincidental, but I actually made a page for Killiks yesterday evening, just a few hours before you made your comment. The other 3 are on my list to add at some point, but I'll give them a priority and do them before I work on dataset updates.
That being said, we're sort of approaching a last call for new species. If anybody wants a species to be added as part of v5, now's a great time to mention them.

Oh thank you!! I have the other three in a word document if you would like it?

On the French SW FFG forum someone asked for the Kiffar, Qinlan Vos species I think. So, I ask here.
I just found another species missing. The Rishii. they were in SWTOR and in the Clone Wars

Je les ai fini.
There is a race I would like to request, or at least some sort of insight on how I could try to stat them up.
Chironian
As far as I'm aware they have not been present outside of books, so details are somewhat limited.
Again, I am fine if I simply could get insight on how I might try to stat them up.
similar boat to Sliprunner = checking if anyone's done a species for...
Umbarans
They're near human, so it shouldn't be hard to stat some up real quick. (also, they'll be minions with a couple ring-leader adversaries) But, figured may's well ask the rest of you first.

They've been in there since v3
not sure how I missed that. 8\

There's not a lot to go on, so that leaves a lot of room for interpretation. My stat block for them is fairly generic, mostly emphasizing their strength and athleticism.

All of your requests are finished. Gormak , Rishii , Sarkhai , and Voss .

Merci Beaucoup.
Does Kiffar use the same base attribute as Human, 2 eveywhere ?

Yep. Any characteristics that I don't mention default to 2.
Thank you for the Chironian, I don't mind to much there isn't to much lore. My group tends to rewrite lore to what we feel is more 'sensible', so it leaves me open to elaborate on things.
Ok I have to say.. man what a great job.. It looks fantastic.
I am surprised how well done it is.. It's fantastic.. great job.
I just want to tell you Thanks for all your hard work, and the time you have put into it.. and then to share it with us..
This will be a great help.
Edited by Electronic ScavengerThe Complete Species Guide v5 is finally out! As usual everything is in the Google Drive Folder , (which has been rearranged slightly) including the individual pages, the PDF version, and the OggDude's Dataset. The Fancy Graphics version is on hold for now, as I'm still waiting for a response from thedearth2. For those who haven't been keeping up with the changes on the individual pages, v5 features 110 new species and is the first version to feature Canon species. Other highlights include featuring every species from the Ultimate Alien Anthology, New Essential Guide to Alien Species, and the Ultimate Species Menagerie.
As we look to the future, I intend to begin working on v6 in the next few days. v5 is a checkpoint to update the PDFs and Dataset, but it will not be the end. I regret that v5 took so long, and I intend to make future updates smaller but more frequent. The best is still yet to come, and I have big plans for this resource beyond today. Enjoy and stay tuned.
