On a lark, I tweeted at FFG Organized Play to ask when the next map would be announced. They actually responded! Looks like they're going to announce something next week!

Map prediction was gonna be my next article! I haven't started research yet, but that's awesome, can't wait!

I think Palps or the jawas map would be a ton of fun to add to the meta diversity

Oh man. This will be a nice Christmas present!

Definitely gonna be a new map from one of the 3 newest packs or the HOTE box. I just hope the map doesn't give mobile figures a strong advantage like Jabba and Nal Hutta. Can't wait!

Will this come with an FAQ you think? Other than the debate about Ugs, nothing seems to need fixing.

I would suggest changing the Weequays reroll ability to only affect attack die, but after seeing how well imps have been doing lately I don't think it's necessary. Still, it makes bringing white die figures a gamble.

I don't know about you guys, but I really want to see a clarification on 0-0-0 and whether you can use Invasive Procedure to Focus even if there are no figures next to you.

It's funny. After trying him out for the first time this past weekend, I'm surprised at how effective he is. I'm considering him to be my Imperial Greedo. A 4pt annoyance that can also do some serious damage that can easily fit into a list.

Yeah. After some trials with the new Chewie, I don't that "benefit" to be that great.

I was also curious about how he works with Punishing Strike in a Merc list. I am assuming Punishing Strike only affects 1 figure (that at least was the intent of the card when it first came out before 000 as released), but it would be awesome if he could just walk up and stun like 2-3 figures.

I'm still skeptical about him. I often find that if I have four points left in a list, two officers is almost always a better bet.

That would be sweet, but I'm pretty confident punishing strike only works on 1 condition per round.

Ha ha, my glory in such a role is short lived. I went ahead and tweeted at them again, this time asking for info of when the next wave will be released. They responded, but this time without any real info.

Still, it was pretty awesome of them to not leave us in the dark about when to expect the next map announcement.

"Ok. We have official rulling from Todd 'Secondly, yes, 0-0-0 can become Focused even if there is no adjacent figure. Order Hit is marginally different given that its using some VP rules, but I’ll consider a clarification in the next FAQ'"

could be from the droid wave also. HotE will be in play for sure before worlds (so people have to own all the content) but they'll have 1 or maybe 2 more opportunities after this map announcement to get one of those in play before may.

That's pretty awesome. You could always start the round by focussing him up last. He then becomes a viable threat, especially for 4 pts.

I like the Anchorhead map, the grab the crates and run mission was awesome for my Tranny Rodeo list. Hired guns run next to crates, grab em and run behind the trandos for fast points. Will miss it and the list is useless on the nal hutta map! so end of the road rodeo :-(
