Has any one read "Empire in Chaos" by Anthony Reynolds? I read this about have way through and then lost interest. It sat on my book shelf for quite a while. While it was up there and completely out of my mind, I bought WFRP 3rd. I was thinking up a campaign for my players when I spotted the gold warhammer logo on my shelf. I re read the first chapter and was inspired! I was wondering if anyone had an idea based off this book? Dont worry about spoiling the book for me, I have already read most of it.

I haven't read the book or any other" Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning" books. I do have CL Werners "Forged by Chaos" next on my self when I finnish last Gotrek & Felix book... BUT I have played "Warhammer Online" for sometime.

Is your idea using Age of Reckoning -idea? Or just the plot in that book (which offcourse is tied to the greater story arc I imagine)?

Basicly Age of Reckoning storyline happens out of official timeline, but when game came out first time I taugh about the idea IF it could be united to current timeline. Offcourse it wouldn't happen very soon after Storm of Chaos, but not very far in the future either (we have Karl Franz as ruler and all the other famous characters aroun). I had idea it could happen around 2530+ (about ten years from SoC).

I have run two adventures that were set during the Age of Reckoning, yeah. They went really well. There is a lot going on in that setting, with action at several interesting locations across the world. It also works most of the game's majoc factions into the overarching story, which is nice.
