Got a situation where we might start playing with 2 players but then over Xmas e will have 4 people.

I think so. You’ll have to ensure they have enough XP though. Fame, heroism, and training points are party stats. Gold is earned and spent as a party. So none of these should be affected.

XP is earned as a party but spent individually. To correct this, take any hero’s unspent XP and add 1 for every skill that hero learned (since each skill costs 1 XP). That is the total XP the hero ever earned, so start your new heroes off with that number. You can might not remember which skills were bought, but you can determine how many if you know how many the hero started with. look at a hero’s max stamina (based on the party size before the new heroes, eg 2P) to determine the number of starting skills (16 for 5 skills in 2P game etc).

Speaking of stamina, make sure you reduce the max stamina after adding new heroes.
