Star Wars: Revan's War IC

The cooks features would soften a little as Oola communicates with him privately. 'Thank you' he would respond using the same method, 'folks need a place to get away from the humans all over the place. I suspect you jedi won't be much more welcome though if you stick around long enough'.

"Quite, quite!' the admiral would declare as he strides forwards with the gun now loaded and still tucked under his arm. He would toss the gun to the nearest investigator as he goes to sit on a near by chair. 'Take a shot if you want' he would say in his ever booming voice. 'And ask away! I have nothing to hide of course, I hope you catch the traitorous swine and string them up. It's all that they deserve'.

" Let us begin, where were you on the day of the attack, and is there anyone who can corroborate your story." Zoroku says after he seats himself before the admiral, he looks about the room trying to gauge its contents to see in he could gain insight to the Soldier turned Admiral.

Oola silently replies "Yeah those guys in the corner are eyeing us up I seen. Who are they? We can leave if its gonna cause you trouble".

"Oh that's an easy one my boy!" the admiral would proclaim. "I was on Chandrila, a hunting trip with some of the generals from the mid-rim. Absolutely glorious it was! I got some terrific trophies to mount on my wall, I'm running out of room at home. Hm? Oh I', sure the generals would be able to confirm I was there!"

The owner glances at the table before whipping his head back around with a nervous look on his face. "I shouldn't really say" he would respond using his lekku. "Dangerous activists, hate a lot about the republic, and those who work for the senate, like yourselves. Look, I should go", and with that the twi'lek would hurry back towards the kitchen, not giving any further word to the table, probably leaving Muu and Kai confused by the lengthy silence they had witnessed.

Mulling it over for a few seconds, Oola then stands and walks over to the observer. "Oi got a problem? I know I'm a pretty one, but staring wont get you the goods."

Zoroku would nod as the Admiral explained what he was doing during the attack. " May I ask what you were Hunting, and also for the contact information of each of the generals." Zoroku would ask, " I need as many details as possible so that we may narrow our search and start to eliminate suspects." He starts caressing his beard awaiting his response.

As Oola approaches the table two weequays push themselves away from the table to bar the jedis approach. "Republic dogs are best kept in their kennels" one would grunt, causing the other to snicker. "Why don't you run off jedi? You lot aren't welcome here". As Oola looks beyond the two, she can see the other aliens gathered around the table are watching the encounter carefully. Including the faleen at the end, there was a pale orange twi'lek, a rough looking chadra-fan, a young looking rodian. There were no weapons visible amongst the group, but in the lower levels, that meant little in reality.

"Blackbacks" the admiral would respond bluntly. "Beautiful bird of prey native to the planet, a very popular target for the hunt amongst the officer class! As for the generals, I will see you are given a pad with their details before the end of the day. I myself only arrived this morning back on Corouscant this morning. I was supposed to arrive yesterday, but I fell off of the ghorla I was riding." He would follow this with a bellowing laugh before continuing. "I had to see a medic before coming back you see, so this news about the attack is new to me, I wasn't told why I was recalled until shortly after landing!"

Kai-wan, of course, is not far behind. "Come, mistress. These pretenders are not worth the trouble. Just a petty little hate group with no aspirations. Let them sit at their sad little table and plan their next failure to gain relevance."

Raising his photoreceptors to gaze over the Weequay enforcers, the droid scans over the diverse group at the table and focuses on the Falleen. "Or perhaps I am mistaken? It would not be entirely unprecedented. Flich might be interested in listening to what we have to say."

The droid pauses, then continues: "I must confess I find it absurd that such a group should be so paradoxically exclusive.. and do stop staring. You'll be getting no goods from me, either , thank you!"

The weequays would glance at each other before turning back to the pair. "You better get lost before we waste both of you" one would snap, stepping forwards before a voice from the table halts them. 'Go get some fresh air'. It came from the faleen, a slight look of intrigue on his face.

"But Sarrus-"

"Outside. If the jedi wanted to try something, I doubt they would have started it with a meal".

With a low grumble the enforcers would shove roughly past the pair before the others at the table got up to follow. With the table empty the remaining faleen would gesture for the three newcomers to sit. "So, what are the jedi doing this low in the planet? I didn't think you guys cared about anything below level three".

"We are not your typical Jedi.. that is to say, I am not a Jedi at all ." The last bit is intoned with an almost hypnotic inflection, and accompanied by a passing hand gesture any Jedi would immediately recognize. "See? Still won't work for me." A very brief, but awkward silence follows, before the droid continues.

"We are just come from a certain mutual acquaintance, one Ratchar Stewth. She is under investigation for high treason, and is calling in favors. She might not realize it yet, but we have much in common. All for all , as it were."

"Wan sit down, reset your vocal components. As it said we're investigating stuff and thangs. You know Admiral Stewth yeah? Seen her recently?" Oola takes a seat opposite and casually reclines hoping to keep the situation cool,

The activist would stiffen a little at the mention of the admiral; and treason, but would be quick to compose himself. 'I know her, I assume that's why you came looking for me after all. No point in lying when the interrogator has the facts. I saw her recently for a drink, socially, not professionally. What treason do you think she's done? I can tell you, she's pretty straight laced, chances are you jedi have bungled this investigation like the republic did when they were looking into me'. There was a touch of barb in the mans tone at this last part, as if he was blaming the jedi for something they hadn't done.

"Investigation is implied in my mandate. Bungling is not." Having just run his full diagnostics suite, Kai-wan is a bit touchy at the suggestion his circuits might be anything short of shiny.

"So you deny any complicity, or knowledge of collusion, regarding the attack at Foernost?"

Oola facepalms before she can catch herself.

Sarrus face would change from calm to confused. "Foernost? What's that? I've not heard anything about an attack droid, I think you've got your facts twisted". It is unlikely that he is lying, chances are the republic senate and admiralty are trying to keep this attack confidential until it's resolved.

"It's a mining colony in the outer regions. Got hit by pirates and the ship that was supposed to defend it wasn't there. Sent off to do some other mission that the captain swears was given by the admiralty. So we're here to find out if your friend was the one giving the orders. She deal in dodgy **** still?"

"Indeed, the oreworks receive little enough attention.. the escort ship was thought to be merely a formality. That the attack coincided with the frigate's absence, however, raises some questions."

Meanwhile, as the pair approached the table, the Iktotchi chose to remain seated as he finishes up his dessert entree. Muu was not one to intentionally hover, micromanage, or overly stifle others initiative. The Consular just simply observed the situation from a far as it naturally handle itself. Once the Weequays left after running their mouths, he cleans himself off with a napkin, and pays the bill by laying an appropriate tip amount with credit chips. Looking up towards the general direction of the pair, Muu leans back against the seat continuing to discern the setting. From this angle, the Iktotchi could view the Weequay outside, and monitor the interior diner. " I wonder if the others have discovered the traitor yet " he'd passingly think, as he watched Oola and Kai-Wan interrogate Sarrus.

It seems that the faleen believes the group, but his face twists in anger as he pushes himself from his seat. "If you think I'd turn on one of my own kin for you puppets, then you are more out of your mind than I thought! I may not agree with the way she went with work, but Ratch is one of the most loyal people I've ever met. And the fact that you even think she could be involved in something like this proves you're either being conned, or are a part of the problem!" As his voice raises to a shout his skin tinge begins to shift slightly to a more ruddy colour. He slides out from behind the table and starts to storm past the jedi. 'Word of advice, get off of my level before me and the boys come for you. Because we will, I'm not scared of scum like you!"

Meanwhile in a prison cell, a young man stirs from his slumber due to a banging on the energy field that blocks the entrance. "Oi! Wake up mandalorian the officer would shout. You got a visitor". This was the first visitor that Zalen Vizla had since he was arrested a week ago, but who could it be?

"HEY! Did I say you could leave?"

The Faleen is jerked back maybe a bit too violently and lands in a heap at Oolas feet.

"Your pheromones betray you, friend. My sensors have indicated a sharp spike in emitted chemical signals commonly associated with fear. More specifically, your fear of scum might be diagnosed as Bacillophobia ."

"Would a medic around here be able to confirm this injury?" Raithe asks the Admiral.

"Hm" the admiral would muse as he strokes over the neatly trimmed moustache. "Around here? No, but I could talk to General Starl, it was one of his men who saw to my leg! I'm sure he can tell you. I can probably talk to him later today!"

Meanwhile Sarrus scrambles to his feet while reaching into his threadbare coat for something, but would not draw it. "I think you're mistaking fear for anger, clanker. Now I said we were done, and I really meant it".

As this commotion is caused, a few of the other diners quickly make their leave to avoid any potential fallout. However the customers leaving does alert the weequay outside that something is going on. After exchanging a few words they quickly begin to make their way towards the diner door.

"I am dreadfully sorry. You are not the first of your species to call my olfactory sensors into question today." The droid sounds genuinely mortified. "Anger. Definitely anger. Would you mind rating your anger on a level between 1 and 10, while I recalibrate my sensory receptors?" Kai-wan reaches down to assist the fallen Falleen, but the incensed activist is having none of it.

"Mistress?" The droid is aware from the reactions of those around him, that he has made some social and cultural lapses in the course of this investigation... but is not sure where Oola is taking things at present. "Are we detaining him for further interrogation?"

"And I believe we are about to have company."
